Darth Maul just won't die! He is in the market 4 an apprentice, but is he still a Sith? What will his motives be?

This is pathetic... When I first heard that Maul is alive, I thought it's a joke. And then I realised it's canon. This is one of the worst ideas in SW ever to keep him alive after his defeat bu hand of Obi-Wan. Who's next? Han Solo returning in ep. IX with "it was just a flesh wound" scene? It's so... childish.

I'm interested to see what Maul's been up to. As long as Maul doesn't show up in any episode movie, it works for me.

I think Maul is definitely going to train Ezra. However the way Maul talks and looks now I feel like he is more in the Grey area then a full blown Sith.

That's what I thought when I first saw him in TCW.I have however, found his story since then to be excellent. I'm guessing that once the Ashoka/Vader story wraps up near the end of season two that's when Maul will meet Ezra, leaving us with a "has Ezra turned?" Moment for a cliffhanger, possibly having Maul as the big bad in season 3.

Maybe Sidious's final use will be revealed.

Pretty sure Sidious is done with him; he already used Maul in Son of Dathomir to draw out Mother Talzin.

Maul is still Mandalore, right? Well as far as deathwatch is concerned. So I assume the appearance of the Mandalorians will be linked to him.

At the end of the Son of Dathomir comics, I'm pretty sure that Maul and some Death Watch members escaped/retreated. Sidious seemed unconcerned.

Yep after TPM he destroyed all evidence of his existence, he must have escaped after the Mandalore duel capture, probably caged up on Coruscant till the time was right.

Wouldn't surprise me if Maul preys upon Ezra's hatred of the Empire to lure him closer to the dark side. Maul may be a Sith, but I have no doubt he absolutely hates the Empire since his former Master is the one leading it. Maul being separate from the Empire is another factor that may make Ezra more willing to learn from him.

I think it would be cool to see Ezra go dark but considering it's a Disney animated show mainly targeted at kids I think it's more likely he resists and they end up battling Maul.

I have almost no doubt that fighting Maul is the endgame, but I wouldn't be 100% sure that Ezra completely resists him. This may just be wishful thinking, but I see this being a multiple episode arc where Ezra submits to Maul's teachings only for Kanan to drag him back to the light at the very end of the season.

Plagueis & Maul working together to undermine the regime of Darth Sidious?

    I like that idea.

I would like to see it that Ezra is never turned per se by Maul, and Ezra does resist him, leading to a duel where Ezra kills Maul. However, what Maul does say to Ezra plus tapping into the dark side to kill Maul has an effect on Ezra. This is similar to how over the span of TCW various situations and statements effect Ahsoka that slowly turn her against the notion that her Jedi way is the only right way.

There are only two beings in all the galaxy who deserve the right to kill Darth Maul and both owe the opportunity to an Infinities Comic.

Old Wounds was so epic, it forced G Walton to admit his mistake & bring back Maul...

Then, there is Vader vs Maul.

You know, I said it before, Maul's lips don't move in the trailer when you hear the words "Call me old master".

Imagine this scenario - Maul tempts Ezra towards the darkside. Ezra is going for it but Yoda's teachings, in the back of his mind and his loyalty to his friends pulls him back. Maul then bests him in combat, restrains him and puts him on his ship and takes him to a secret location. On arrival on a large asteroid, , Maul drags Ezra through the corridors of a dark fortress until they reach a throne room. They stand in silence, Maul bows as the throne pivots to face them and there sits Plageuis. Or Snoke. Or Snoke who is Plageuis or more likely, someone who might be Plageuis and might be Snoke but we don't find out because: "Welcome my young apprentice, you may call me old master" is the last line of season 2.
