    Some of these have already been said but I think the "spark that will burn the 1st Order down" is the tonal direction they want. It needs to have finality because of its place in the saga. Also Rey is a rebirth figure following Anakin the destroyer and Luke the redeemer. Holding those ideas together I think we will see something like.

    "The Fire of Rebellion"
    "The Rising of the Light"
    "The Light Rises"

    You may be right about this. That sentence, the whole concept of spark of hope, had a strong impact in TLJ's direction. Even the crawl had it "Only General Leia Organa's band of RESISTANCE fighters stand against the rising tyranny, certain that Jedi Master Luke Skywalker will return and restore a spark of hope to the fight. "
    So, "spark" and "hope" seem to be up there as good candidates. Someone said the title was said or was in TLJ, right? If that's to be believed, this also qualifies.

    I think this could work in the sense that it would be symetric to "A New Hope", but now for good, or with a more lasting resolve? And it would help carry the saga forward as well. Before, only one strong word was repeated in SW titles before: Jedi. Hope as a word would be repeated again if this was the case. I wouldn't mind seeing Jedi and Hope being repeated, after all, "Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope". The Jedi as the only hope for the galaxy would be the message. Even Snoke says it: "The seed of the Jedi Order lives! As long as he does... hope lives in the galaxy.

    So, perhaps:

    Star Wars: The Force Awakens
    Star Wars: The Last Jedi
    Star Wars: A Spark of Hope ?

    Or Star Wars: Beyond all hope
    otoh I think
    Star Wars: menace ere hope
    Would be a title for a "meh" movie

    But it would bind the trilogies together (like an old rug)

    Feeling pretty anti-rebellion this morning, eh?
    :D

    I wouldn't mind something with "hope" as an obvious callback to the original and first film, but I also wouldn't mind something out of the box -- like a one word title.

    I also would love to see a title with "Skywalker" in it. This is allegedly the end of the "officially unofficial Skywalker saga".... why not double-down on that and honor the name with a title feature??
