This is interesting. Reddit again but feels more believable for some reason

"I saw it because we had to do a test run to make sure everything goes off without a hitch at the premiere tonight. I have long awaited this movie and followed the spoilers as much as I could get my hands on them.

Everything goes exactly how Jason Ward said it would last May and I was seriously annoyed at myself for spoiling everything. But midway through the third act something shocking occurs and everything after was different than what is being touted around here as being the end.

I won't spoil it, I refuse to, but we were all played hardcore.

You don't know how the last twenty minutes of this plays out, even if you've read every spoiler out there.

Do your best to stay away from the spoilers this week. It's so worth it"

God I hope this is right. I would be so hyped. I am skeptical, but I hope.

Which is why, I guess, I said people will still be arguing about this leaked shooting schedule and how accurate it was even after we've all seen the film.

It depends how you approach it.

Rewind back to the very start. We know nothing about Luke in this movie - you just know Hamill has been cast to appear in it. Then you see he has been growing a beard. And then he is known to be filming on a remote and hazardous island with Ridley for a couple of days. Stunt doubles are present.
    That is all we know.
More recently, you have seen a cloaked figure with a robotic hand touching Artoo in some trailers and a leaked pic of Luke in pale robes which is (potentially) how he could look in TFA. And we have a general idea that he is considered "missing" within the timeframe of the movie.
Clear your mind of anything else - that is all we actually know.

So - IMHO - any scenario where our heroes do not make contact with Luke Skywalker until the climax of the movie, and he is a solitary figure in a remote location which matches what we know of Skellig Michael's topography, and Rey climbs some steps to meet him and hands over his lightsaber - any scenario where that is the case is a win for the shooting schedule being legit, isn't it? How can it not be?
I mean, even if that scene lasts longer than expected; even if there is dialogue, or some other details that could not be conveyed by a one-line description in a shooting schedule, that is still a little "X" in the box that says "the leaked shooting schedule was real".
Because it is that description of the final moments of the film vs us knowing virtually nothing at all.

Any differences will be minor or not in the description in the first place. I'm afraid, if you don't like the MSW leaks you're in for a let down come 17th/18th.

    "Half-true"???

Listen, I'm sorry bud, but that's just not possible at this point.
    My challenge remains:
Show me an MSW article published since, say, February which has been flatly contradicted by released material. I can only think of a couple.

Ward has been on point (mostly fueled by the shooting schedule, generously provided to him by Indie Revolver).

    - Ward was wrong about Snoke (though he may have been accurately reporting a far earlier design of the character).
    - Ward originally reported that BB-8 had been captured along with Rey; he quickly corrected this later, stating that only Rey had been captured and that BB-8 joins Poe for the final X-wing assault on Starkiller.

I personally believe that he will also prove to be wrong about the lightsaber MacGuffin.
Again, he may have been accurately reporting the original story, but we now know that it doesn't play out that way.

    - Lor San Tekka has information (apparently in his necklace) about the location of Luke Skywalker.
    - It is this information, not a lightsaber, that's placed within BB-8.
    - Luke/Anakin's lightsaber doesn't show up until the Maz's castle sequence; it turns out that Maz has been in possession of the lightsaber (apparently stolen from the Knights of Ren).
...so admittedly, MSW was wrong about the lightsaber stuff....

Everything else MSW has reported is accurate.

Just another in an endless line of attention-grabbing "I saw the movie" liars.

They do it because they're bored and have nothing better to do.

We already know he's lying through his teeth because even though I'm an MSW defender, we already know it doesn't go down exactly the way Jason Ward said it does: Lor San Tekka does not have Luke's lightsaber, the lightsaber is not placed in BB-8. That entire story element is completely wrong.

The visual dictionary and two different kid's books already confirmed; Lor San Tekka gives Poe his necklace; it hold the location of Luke Skywalker (which Rey eventually finds out and tells Han). Maz has the lightsaber (it's even a part of the Takodana lego playset; the Skywalker lightsaber is in a hiding spot in one of the walls).

    My strong advice:
ANYONE who claims to have seen the movie between now and Wednesday who is not a member of the cast or a famous person is a liar. Do not believe a single word that they say. Just ignore them.

I'am asking myself the same question.
Snoke will be featured in the whole ST.
Captain Phasma will return for VIII.
They casted Benicio Del Toro allegedly as a "bad guy" for VIII.
Someone has to go in TFA, Kylo Ren? General Hux?
Too much villians for my taste it's overwhelming.
In ANH we had Tarkin and Darth Vader as his henchman.

Do we know that Del Toro is going to be a villain? He could be replacing Han Solo and be old smuggler buddy, or he could be somebody in the New Republic Senate, or he could be a Jedi who wasn't killed at Luke's academy etc

I believe it's 100% true because nothing in it has been disproved, and also because it sucks, and Hollywood is just that out of touch that that's something they'd do.

Hope I'm wrong though. No one will be more happy to be wrong than me. The sequel to Return Of The Jedi with Luke in it only as a two second voiceless cameo where he says and does nothing, doesn't even use his green lightsaber, and never interacts with Han and Leia (not to mention Han dying and without the proper sendoff from his friends on top of all that), it's the worst idea I've ever heard for a Star Wars movie and a waste of a once in a lifetime opportunity.
