    Correction, they haven't announced casting for young Han Solo. They've no doubt found their Han Solo by now, the next step in casting is to find the rest of the cast. Once they get that filled out they'll make an official announcement.

    That's not to say Solo is guaranteed to be in R1, and chances are that rumor is bunk. But it's fun to think about, imo. Personally I'd like to see Boba Fett if there are going to be any cameos, but I'm not holding my breath.

    Correction to this correction: casting was still ongoing as of January 2016, the month they wrapped filming. Presuming that they even had time to film anything else, that would mean that they would still have had to get the Han actor fit into a costume, do the appropriate makeup and styling, and given him accent lessons within the timeframe of a few days to film what would effectively be a cameo. And that's ignoring the February report suggesting that yes, they are still looking into finding the right actor to cast as Han Solo, or that they've auditioned literally thousands of actors for the role.

    Yep it's like fans don't want to go back in time I can see why with the prequels not transpiring according to GL's design, I guess the expect the same for Rogue one I intend to give it a chance.

    agree. John Campea suggested the shareholder video might be a sign that the trailer is coming earlier than Civil war, but i doubt it. As i said before, maybe i over hyped how much they would push RO after TFA, but I just find it strange that they are happy for VIII info to fill the void right now. :confused: Maybe release a pic of felicity in the shuttle or something? :confused:

    Ok, so supposedly this MIGHT be real BUT the fact that it says "Anthology" instead of "A Star Wars Story" at the end makes me think it is fake. What say you all?


    Oh, and for comparison (or just for the heck of it), here is a real teaser that Lucasfilm showed at Star Wars Celebration last year...

    An article for this showed up in my yahoo news feed a couple of hours ago and I knew footage was shown a couple of days ago, so even though it ended up being fake... the 2 seconds of excitement I had was very real :) Instead of being upset, it just reminded me that this is about to start all over again. I can't wait for this next chapter of Star Wars to unfold and when we do see the first footage I think that it will be great.
