I can't believe this came out 3 months ago and I'm just seeing it mentioned on the site now.

Something actually relevant to both Rebels and TFA

guess it got swallowed up by all the 'important' discussions like Plageius not being in TFA and Rey's staff not being anything but a staff.

Thanks so much for posting this. The more I see of Zare Leonis and his quest to find his sister the more i wish the cartoon series, video game, or comic had been about that. heh.


The indoctrination you mention was a similar institution they first introduced for 'The Emperor's 'Hands' seen in the original Marvel comics series with Shira Bree (Lumiya) and Mara Jade. I dont know where Mara Jade was trained.. In the comics Shira was trained on 'Imperial Center' (what they called Coruscant before Coruscant had a name or was conceived to be a giant city planet)

 

I'm not saying it's on Takodana, what I am saying is that's it's not on Jakku. All the things I've read says it's in a jungle/forest type terrain. There doesn't appear to be any jungles or forests on Jakku.

 

So I was just looking at the time/calendar on my PC... exactly 10 weeks from now, assuming I get to a midnight screening, I should have seen the movie, gone back home, slept a bit more, and be up talking about it... there'll be thousands of people who have seen the movie.
People catching midnight screenings in the UK should be more than half way through.

We're really getting into the home stretch now.

On a slightly different note, I am wondering if anyone thinks that movie "insiders" read what fans think about the rumors. If some of the rumors are true, do you guys think that the "insiders" somewhat base how much information to release based on this? For instance, if there's a negative reaction a plot rumor that's true, do they more closely guard that one knowing that it's not such a positive plotline to some fans? Do they test fans by releasing info as rumors to gauge how they might react to the movie? I'm wondering this, and I will venture a "yes" on all of this.

 

I'd say that they probably do pay attention to fan reactions on a large scale. I doubt they scan the forums, but if something is getting an overwhelmingly negative or positive reaction they would definitely adjust their marketing reveals accordingly.

 

I really like the Collider Jedi Council show, but Kristian Harloff and Tiffany Smith have pushed this theory way too much, Kristian more than anyone else. His obsession with Plagueis leaves him completely unable to accept its just a staff.

I'm happy again with my original view that:

• Maz's Castle is not on Jakku
• Chewie doesn't visit Jakku in TFA. If he pulls off someone's arms it must be elsewhere.

 

Even if Chewie and Han were on Jakku, it could possibly be that they are on the MF whilst it is docked.
LFL insiders wouldn't have time to read fan forums.most of them will be too busy the next 6yrs +

 

"Docked" might not be the right word for it... it's more just parked out in the open.

Let's just play this scenario out for a moment...

Rey and Finn are being pursed by First Order TIE Fighters.
They run to the Falcon.


They run into Han and Chewie on the ship...


But Han just let's this girl fly his ship...



... even though she one crazy pilot!




and despite all the people on board... they struggle to deal with 2 TIE Fighters?

You would have to wonder...

 

Is there anyone know when it is released today on the PS4?

 

It doesn't appear that Finn and Rey meet Han/Chewie on the Falcon while docked at some port on Jakku. At least that doesn't seem to be the case according to previous reports. I thought they met up on some huge freighter up in space. Rey/Finn steal the Falcon where at some point soon thereafter, Han/Chewie get the Falcon back.. which would jive with Han saying those lines- 'Chewie, we're home'. Apparently someone stole (?) the Falcon from Han/Chewie, Rey/Finn steal it from whomever stole it from Han and it falls back into the hands of its rightful owner.

 

Makes sense to me.

 

This would make more sense then the version of where Rey finds the Falcon crashed on Jakku and has been repairing it for years, and right when her and Finn are escaping from the storm troopers, they jump on the Falcon and fly away. If it worked, why hadn't Rey already left? And, how would she know how to repair a space ship?

 

I guess what I don't get is Rey can fly the Falcon like it's second nature.

 

Interesting thing about Smuggler's Run, is that Han suspects the Guavians being after him/the Falcon.
The TFA Millennium Falcon Lego Set, on the other hand, includes Tasu Leech and Kanjiklub member.
When pictures of the Lego Falcon Leaked, MSW assumed that Tasu Leech and the Kanjlub were the local junk dealer who Rey has to deal with... but that was before we learned about Unkar Plutt.
So where do the Kanjiklub and Guavians fit into the film? We saw some Guavian enforcers in the BTS video running down some spaceship/spacestation corridor... but really have no solid clue for where Tasu Leech and company show up.

What do you guys think about the news regarding Iger's description of what logos will appear before TFA? I absolutely hate the new fanfare for the Lucasfilm Logo... Williams better redo it because I don't want to see something I hate immediately before TFA smashes onto the big screen!

I was also a little disappointed by the absence of the Disney Logo... I could have seen them doing something clever with it to make it star wars-esque.
