    I'm not crazy about this potential title either..but I also wasn't about TFA as well.

    Time will tell.

    It is officially trademarked though. Could be for anything.

    Yeah, that's the thing. I'm obviously just speaking for myself here, but I have always been generally positive towards the titles. The Phantom Menace, The Force Awakens... heck, even Attack of the Clones. Count me in. But this one sounds like the worst fan fiction.

    Like you said, time will tell. But hopefully time will tell us soon that it's the name of the latest charity initiative, and not the title of the next film.

    Did a bit of digging

    Should we read anything into the fact that 'Forces of Destiny' is covering WAY more trademark uses than TFA or the games?

    Trademark classification 9 as an example, is about triple the size of TFA. Then when you look at battlefront, Trademark classification 9 is like 5 lines.

    Forces of Destiny is a huge trademark :confused:

    As far as I know, a trademark is a trademark. I don't know anything about classifications, and the idea of different levels of trademark doesn't make much sense to me. But then, I've never trademarked anything.

    Here's my most negative statement ever ---- 'Forces of Destiny' would be the dumbest title imaginable. (Ok, yes. 'Star Wars, Episode VIII: The Pajama Bonanza' would be a worse title. I admit it). Hopefully Lucasfilm agrees.

    Forces of Destiny sounds like the name of an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation, it's horrible. No way I'm going to allow myself to think that they would go with this. I mean, a guy like Rian Johnson? Forces of Destiny? Naaaaaaaa.

    I dont think they would use "Force" in the title twice in a row.

    "A new dawn" was a rumored EP VII title and at the end it was a new book. So, maybe "Forces of Destiny" is a new book or maybe a new game?
