    Maybe they cut his beard off and turned it into a wig to use for later.

    Either that or his beard goes to George's daughter's collection with Ewan McGregor's hair. ;)

    Maybe Daisy & Isaac & the "special forces TIE fighter pilot" guy track down a raggy old Luke drinking Hoth Blue Milk out of a paper sack. They turn their backs on Skywalker & start to walk away. Luke yells; "I'm not a bum!" & cleans himself up, shaves then goes after the "ancient fear". :)

    Really, I keep saying EP7 will NOT be dark and/or disturbing as some members claim. Disney & ILM want to draw in young kids. This isn't a Frank Miller or Alan Moore type dark comic(The Dark Knight, Sin City, 300, etc).
    It might have a cheery upbeat ending but with a "uh oh" type bit at the end to act as a cliffhanger to EP8.

    Obi-wan was only supposed to be 57 in ANH, and Luke is supposed to be 52. Pretty similar in age.

    If he has to do any re-shoots I'm sure they would give him the time to grow it back if need be. Sorry. Didnt do multi post correctly.

    If re-shoots are needed they'd probably give him enough notice to grow the beard back.
