    I am actually going to the fan event that will be at 6 pm on the 14th (here in the U.S), it sold out like 10 minutes after tickets went on sale lol.

    Apparently you get an extra 5 minutes of exclusive footage/content, trading cards, free concession. How are y'all seeing the movie?

    Probably first weekend of release. Crowds are best here for that, and with family and friends home for Christmas, we can usually make a group thing out of it.

    The run time for the Fan event is being listed at 2 hours and 35 minutes while the regular runtime is 2 hours and 30 minutes, so I am assuming the extra five minutes is exclusive footage, could be wrong, they haven't really explained what the extra content is yet.

    I took off work for Friday, Dec 15. My girls get off from school at 12 noon for Christmas break so we are going to a 3:35 pm standard showing (we prefer our SW in 2D). The afternoon show works well as there are less people wearing cologne and perfume (my wife gets migraines from them) so this allows us to go as a family. The girls and I will likely go back again a few times during Christmas break.

    Midnight, 0:01 14th Wednesday/Thursday. At my local theatre is Scotland. No event per say but the locals love a SW launch.

    i've got double-bill on the 14th with TLJ starting around 6:00pm, which matches up with the other premiere showings.

    latte and a foot long hot dog with everything on it ( we can call that my SW tradition if you like... but i'd go see a crap film for one of those hot dogs :D )

    lol, i didn't take in much from the first screening of TFA. after all those years of waiting... when i was sat in the theater and the LF logo came up on screen i felt like i wasn't ready - if that makes sense?
