    I've got tickets to the 6 p.m. AMC fan event on Dec. 14. I asked the theater manager what the bonus content is, and she didn't know. She did say that normal runtime for TLJ is listed at 2 hrs. 35 minutes, whereas this one is listed at 2 hrs. 50 minutes. So we shall see.

    To me the experience of being there with other fans the first night, and seeing the first available showing, plus being home in time to make sure my kids get to bed for school the next day :p (I will totally not be able to sleep for hours afterwards, I'm sure), will make it worth the pricey tickets! The bonus content, trading cards, and free popcorn will just be icing on the cake. ;) Also, I will not be getting a drink because I will not take any bathroom breaks during TLJ!! NEVER! :D

    Then the plan is to take my family at a later date. And hopefully I'll get an IMAX viewing in on Friday...the tickets haven't gone on sale for that here yet. Fortunately movies hardly ever sell out here in my neck of the woods, so I should be fine. Just no blizzards that weekend, please! :eek:

    I've seen every Star Wars movie on opening day with the exception of ANH, which I didn't see until it was in wide release later on in the summer of '77 and 'Rogue One'- which I waited closer to Christmas to see that.

    I won't be seeing this movie in 3D. I'm done with 3D for the forseeable future.

    i'll be watching it in the Cineworld Imax in Basildon on the 14th.. that's not far from where i live.

    I work by the QE2 bridge (kent side), so Bluewater is an easy one for me to get to on a weekday. i may well find my way up there on the 18th/19th to catch the 2d version. possibly even daytime if i can feign illness and wriggle out of work :D

    I always see the new SW movie on the first weekend on Friday Night. Not a fan of 3D cause I hate wearing glasses, so regular old style movie theater works for me!

    I am going on Thursday night well technically Friday morning at 12:01 at a iMax theater where they have recliner chairs and we are also doing 3D so I am really excited! Can’t wait until December!

    Considering that tickets here go on sale only a week before a movie is released, regardless of a movie, I don't know for sure. But, if everything goes as planned: in a multiplex ten minute walk away from my home. They'll have premiere on 13th (the movie here starts playing on 14th). If it's 08:00PM premiere, I'll be there, if it's midnight, I'll see it on Thursday night.

    I will be watching with an empty bladder and no more than a bottle of water. No 102 ounce movie theater keg of soda for me! I made that mistake for Attack of the Clones, and I was in pain throughout the entire third act because I would not walk out to go to the bathroom!!!

    I am seeing TLJ at 7:00 pm on the 14th (preview night) at an AMC that has really nice recliners and reserved seats. 2D - I find 3D a distraction.

    I will see the movie with my wife, my mother and my father. My mom took me to see the OT when I was a kid, so I see all new SW movies with her these days. I will see it again on the 16th with my wife and three kids.
