    Not to pick on anyone, but Ashoka (Ahsoka) reminds me of a song called Ashokan Farewell. Which, if you have ever watched the Ken Burn's miniseries The Civil War is just about the saddest song ever written. :( I hear that name and think of people dying. Which maybe is fitting, anyway.

    I know they are plain, maybe even simple but really.. I love them.

    I remember telling my parents, who are hardcore fundamentalists, that George Lucas took his ideas from the old testament. In the book of Kings, the name Jedi'dah appears, and when Adam and Eve are kicked out of the garden, it is protected by an angel "with a flaming sword"(crossguard)

    Our family name is Walker, and my whole life I wanted to name my son Luke Sky Walker, but of course, the ex-wife had no sense of humor; wonder why that didn't work out. Weird part is, she is remarried now and they had a son, whom she named Luke?!

    my choice for today would be Fett or Kenobi for a boy, and Sabine or Leia for a girl.

    Speaking of Star Wars names, I always thought Sepp Blatter would make a great name for a minor bad guy- but it's already taken by the President of FIFA.
    Still, every time I hear it on the news, I always think that would be a great name for a crony of Jabba the Hutt.
