    Not sure what CT has to do with it but his handling of time travel in Safety Not Guaranteed is infinitely better than anything Abrams has done with it.
    JJ has a weird time travel blind spot. He can't work it.

    Maybe. But I considered Ahsoka to be a pretty massive loose end. I'm glad they explained what happened to her and I really enjoyed seeing Ezra really come to terms with the lesson of letting go.

    The episode may not have moved the overall plot that much but what I love about Rebels is that, to me, its more about the characters than the overall storyline and how things fit into the overall SW universe. I think last nights episodes moved the CHARACTERS forward in a meaningful way, which I thoroughly enjoyed!

    I think it actually moved the plot on quite a bit, actually. Someone pointed out that years ago on the show, Minister Tua revealed that the Empire had a secret project on Lothal other than the Defender program, ordered by Palpatine himself. This excavation, as it turns out, was that project the entire time.

    Now, without the temple or the TIE Defender program, Lothal is worth a whole lot less to the Empire. I'm not saying they're gonna torch the place, and I'm not saying they're going to leave- but the loss of these two things means that in a way, Lothal's liberation is closer than ever.

    I only wish we heard Luke's "NOOOOOOOO!" in the time travel scene as opposed to Poe's "the Resistance wouldn't be intimidated by you." Also, why did we hear his voice at all? He's not a force user.

    Though both Jyn and Poe have a special connection to the force even though they aren't force users. Jyn has her Kyber and Poe grew up with the Jedi tree in his back yard.

    It was great seeing Ahsoka again...too bad her being alive is now a massive loose end in continuity.

    Where has she been for the last 2 years in Rebels?

    If they keep her around for the next series then where the hell was she during the original trilogy?

    Somehow I doubt this has any bearing on episode IX. Not unlike Mortis, I expect this to only ever be explored in cartoons. Ahsoka and Ezra (assuming they survive) can find out more of this cosmic stuff in Filoni’s next series.
