    I thought it was great! It was fun and I thought it was pretty emotional. Sure it has a few flaws but what movie doesn't. JJ has gotten Star Wars back on track!

    I remember back in '99, I watched TPM three times....and after that third viewing, it dawned on me: this movie sucks.

    I suspect the same will happen with a lot of people who like TFA right now...after the emotional high of a new Star Wars film fades away, reality will sink in.

    And they'll start picking the film apart, and go "Y'know, that really wasn't so good" and "That guy in the Cantina forums DFF wasn't trolling after all." :p

    Knowing how Lucas loves SW I would really think that he must be feeling really down after seeing this movie. I can't even imagine what must have crossed his mind after having created such awesome characters like Vader, Maul and Grievous and then seeing such weak characters like Captain Phasma and Kylo Ren with his childish tantrums and his super laser stopping powers that diminish when you face a toilet cleaning Stormtrooper. Oh man I have to say it again: TOILET CLEANING STORMTROOPER! You can be taken from your home by force and trained from childhood to be a frickin STORMTROOPER who cleans Dianoga poop from trash compactors! The best part though is that not only is flicking Dianoga turds an awesome job but it gives you so much prestige that high ranking guys like Phasma and Kylo even include you in their super important missions! Never in my life would I have thought that I would find Hux to be a more interesting character than those two. :(

    Some of these reactions are proof that when it comes to Star Wars, the only way certain fans would enjoy a new movie is if they wrote the script and directed the movie themselves so that every single detail matched what they wanted it to be.

    Disliking the movie is one thing, but these hyperbolic statements border on the absurd. Some of you really think that AOTC and ROTS are better?

    The Force Awakens is SUPERIOR over the SACRILEGIOUS prequel trilogy! The main reason is because of Rey as the NEW LUKE of this trilogy! This is the era of white women superiority over all men! Having a main white woman hero makes this movie and trilogy superior!

    Well yeah, I also liked it but it doesnt have the "newness" for me and as epic Luke is, I just didn't like that ending, unless VIII picks up literally at that scene .
