    I don't doubt Smith's fandom as I think that is genuine. I don't ever trust his opinion on the movies because you never know what angle he is playing. I remember he defended Anakin's turn to darkside in a History Channel Documentary on SW because there was a rumor he wanted to be involved in the live action TV show. I still remember him studdering and trying to find the words to defend it and it came like a politician talks to the voters.

    I'm hoping that John and Daisy see the movie opening night like the rest of us;cause I'd love to see their reactions for the first time like us.

    Don't think he ever called the prequels "Brilliant"... he just didn't hate on them as bad as everybody else...

    And he never wanted Tarantino to direct Tusk. He wanted him to play the character 'Guy LaPointe'. He had to settle for Johnny Depp.

    Hmmmm! can't stand with you on this one buddy.

    I am a Kevin Smith fan. Frankly, what KS has done for the industry is amazing. KS has always been really cool at giving information out when he has it. Also, I feel he is the real deal when it comes to honesty.
    I have personally met KS once and seen him talk several times at panels since I have been a SDCC comic con volunteer. ( for the last 20 years now)

    I can tell you IMHO that he is the real deal...

    Note: just because I disagree with you on this doesn't mean we aren't friends brother. :p

    I don't know him in person just from interviews.
    Maybe I'am wrong about him, but in videos he seems just dubious to me.
    Glad that you have a good feeling about him.

    To me it doesn't matter how he personally is. He is one of the few that hasn't just read articles or some sources sending him stuff, he has seen a good part like Struzan and Williams. That IS actually something.
