I'm way excited for Black Panther, I love the art direction so far and the cast is top tier.

I am sad about the state of DC in cinema. I don't buy the fact that you have to like either DC or Marvel. If you love comics you know your favorite artists and writers go back and forth from the two anyway. So you have to embrace both to follow the best talent in comics.

Why has there not been a truly epic Dungeons & Dragons movie yet? And please let us not speak of the hammy Jeremy Irons project a decade ago. I'd rather watch Plan 9 from Outer Space.

My favorite thing about the SWNN forum is when fans can disagree yet stay civil and respectful and even at times, find middle ground, very, very rare on internet boards. My least favorite thing is anti-trolls who downvote ANYONE who says anything even remotely disparaging about the franchise. Cheerleader fans annoy me, constructive discussion involves more than clapping like a seal at everything.

My favorite thing about this thread is it celebrates the community as a whole. It's a very divisive community (it always, always has been this is not new), but it's also a very intelligent, creative and unique community and I am honored to be part of it.

As a kid who grew up with Spiderman and Batman as my two fave heroes I too subscribe to liking both at same time and reject this artificial competition that narrow minded people have to have cause they cannot live with the notion that maybe there's room for more than just their own thing they like.

BP in Feb and then SOLO,Infinity War and DP 2 in May - so much win.

On the DC films I have enjoyed all of them way more than I enjoyed Man of Steel.

DC is way behind on their film projects when compared to Marvel but I am sure they will refine their processes and in time be up there with a full fledged and established movie verse like Marvel has now.

 

I really want a Marvel/DC crossover, not "DC vs Marvel", but a friendly one

On another hand, is anybody else baffled at the size of the covenant supercarrier compared to the Eclipse Class and the Super Star Destroyer?

 

The Covenant supercarrier looks kind of ..... well......weird.....

Interesting... I think saving one person has to be connected with the cause itself. You're not being really selfish if you're helping someone, no matter if it gets personal.. But it gets tricky when it becomes a work against the clock...hmmmm its a tough one.

 

Damn that covenant supercarrier is MASSIVE! And here I thought the Super Star Destroyer was the biggest thing we'll ever see

 

And the terrifying part is, in Halo, Humanity doesn't even have a ship that matches that size. In fact, the biggest ship in their fleet is only 18,682 Feet long vs The Supercarrier's 95,013 Feet.

 

Yup. I've played through all the Halo games. I was a rather big Halo nerd back in the day. I was always amazed at the sheer size of the Covenant fleet vs the UNSC ships

 

You know, my brother is just like you guys, he blew my mind with Halo... I was just a little girl, I wanted barbies and got killzone instead x'D

 

I was wondering the other day when I saw that picture what the heck a covenant supercarrier was. Some halo thing, eh.
