    I really like the idea of a Qui-Gon Anthology film, but I don't know that it could work because Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor are noticeably older than they were in The Phantom Menace. (I still can't believe that film is almost 20 years old!)

    At the very least, Qui-Gon deserves his own novel or set of novels. Liam Neeson did a great job with him and I really think his character had so much potential that was wasted by killing him off in the first film. I'd love to see his story explored a bit more in-depth, but I feel like trying to make a film that does that would be extremely difficult.

    Yes, I can just picture this scene;
    Qui Gon stares at a hologram image of a dark hooded creature, says "I have a particular set of skills acquired under Jedi tutelage learnt over a number of years - I don't know who you are, but I will find you, and I will kill you."

    For live action, yes, but I wouldn't mind an animated feature. In general, I think it would be a great idea for them to have an ongoing series of animated features telling stories of all different sorts--kind of in the way that DC produces high quality animation features on a regular basis. (At least, so I'm told: my brother and nephew always tell me that the animated DC features are far better than the live action films.)
