I'm currently moving houses, which means a lot of lifting and carrying and putting the body through all kinds of though weirdness. I totally count that as exercising! ;)

...and yeah, I REALLY feel it the day after. Ouch! :D

As you should. Loading and unloading with all the carrying in between is akin to running an obstacle course with moderate intensity. The act of moving will eventually lose it's fitness benefit once it becomes routine. As long as it's new, it will kick some ass in it's own right. One of the most overlooked parts in the fitness industry is frequency of change. If you always do what you have already done then you can only maintain what you already have. The pain of change is so meta.

Also; for pencil necks, toothpick calves & those in need of flub reduction, here's the best piece of fitness advice that u will ever receive for FREE:

"THE INTENSITY WITH WHICH YOU TRAIN YOUR LEGS, IS THE PROPENSITY FOR THE REST OF YOUR BODY TO DEVELOP."

25 years I've banked on that axiom.

    It has never failed me.

    ***

    What is fitness?

Being able to physically do what you want, when you want to.

    How do I get there?

Set a goal. Develop a plan.

I believe that learning to be relentless for the right things is an acquired skill.

Burn everything in your path until you plateau.

    Rinse and repeat until satisfied.

    Then maintain said satisfaction.

    Or, start over.

    For fun.

The second day hurts more and in more places, lol. Which is why it was only cardio and stretching for me today, so I wouldn't make a break. This will be a long road, but as the Thai would say สู้ๆนะ (su su na!). :D

I was wondering how was your fitness regime/activities fare in the time of cholera corona virus? As of today, my gym works normally, they just provided extra hand sanitizers and wipes and strongly suggested those with respiratory infections to stop coming or, at the very least, wear a mask. I also noticed that personnel wipes the machines more frequently than usual.

Our government might declare national state of emergency today so I worry that the gyms would be closed. I need my gym for my continuing good shape due to MS.

What's happening in your countries, fitness wise?

Well, update. National state of emergency is declared and one of the first things closed are gyms.

Over here, the gyms were shut down on Thursday. I've been very lazy lately, but plan to take advantage of the nice weather we've had in the last few days and do some hiking soon. (If I can only manage not to ruin my ankles again; I keep spraining my ankle on the mountain, heh heh).

Also, I'm 2,5 months along on my year-long sobriety, so that's great :) Have lost some weight because of that.

I've gone from just over 39" waist down to just under 36" in the space of about three months. I doubt that's a big amount for that space of time and I could easily do more. But it sure feels good anyway.

We are open till 8 pm this evening and the rumor is we wont open the fitness center again for at least two weeks. [*shrugs*]

As for home fitness.... {WAVES MUH right HAND} "Pushups, crunches, bridges, jumping jacks and sprinting up & down the driveway will do fine."

    This is the way.

You either reduced your caloric intake by 10,500 calories over the last three months or, you burned 10,500 more calories than normal. Regardless of the method, your results are impressive. All that matters is your happiness with the time frame.

THAT said: if you wanted to lose it faster, yes... you could have.

I teach 500cal deficit per day (via workout bump or caloric reduction) to manage fat burn (3500cal) at a pound per week.

After almost two months, the gyms were re-opened on Monday and none too soon as I started to feel the consequences of inactivity on my MS. Getting back to the exercising after the break was easier than I thought (maybe years of it are finally paying off), but the next two days hurt just the same. :D

I know what you mean. I lost weight and gained muscle mass when I worked as a loader. But I also got back problems. LOL. I don't advise you to work as a loader, and I advise you to go to the gym instead. I now work out at the gym regularly and take pills to improve my results. You can buy it too: Mod edit - NO LINKS PLEASE (as per our rules) . Girls love my abs. I'm serious. In high school, I was a fat and pimply guy, so I've been missing a woman's touch., but that's all changed now. Getting fit has changed my life. Even lifting heavy objects can improve your fitness, so good for you.

Your link was verified - not sure if that is allowed here - anyways - I freaking love certain SARMS.

Problem is, most people have no clue how to utilize /maximize them.

Food. Rest. Training. Cardio. Hydration. Supplementation.

    Research purposes, only. lol

Nope, not allowed. @julesoldroyd0 swung in to this SW community, made a single post in the weight loss thread (=easily identifiable for bots), and haven't been here since. In all likelihood, they are a bot. Let's see if they react to this post ;) (And I'll delete the link)
