The point is that, in the real world, some people are born with talents that their parents didn't possess. However, certain genetic traits that pertain to certain talents are usually passed down by one parent or relative - be it speed, strength, intelligence etc. So Kenobi might not have had Force sensitive parents. However, those people in the galaxy who do have Force sensitive parents will be FS themselves. Which leads me on to...

The Jedi presumed that Anakin's kids would be very powerful in the Force. The only reason for this is because they know that Force connection is genetic. If the power wasn't genetic then there is no reason to suspect that Luke would've been as powerful as his father. The Jedi would've had equal success choosing a random person and teaching them the ways of the Force. Again, believe and trust in the Force is not passed down - as religious views are not in the real world. They are taught. Another point is that Anakin's origins, whatever they may be, do not have an impact on his progeny other than through his genetic make-up. It's all about how Anakin was born with a very powerful connection to the Force (genetically) and that this is passed on to Luke, Leia and now Kylo.

There are 3 possible scenarios for Anakin's origins:

    1. The will of the Force desired him to be created to restore balance and so directly influenced the midichlorians within Shmi to do this.
    2. The Sith's meddling with the Force created a "natural reaction" where by the Force "struck back" and created Anakin.
    3. The Sith directly manipulated the midichlorians to create Anakin.

For me, #1 seems unlikely as it is too direct an action by the Force and seems a bit random. Anakin was also born before the Force was really out of balance so it would be odd for the Force to do this before it had a reason to. This could be explained by the mysterious nature of the cosmic force that may have had some vision of the future. But I don't like this theory.

#2 makes some sense as this matches the random nature of events and explains why Anakin could be created by the Force before the Force went out of balance.

#3 makes the most sense to me as it provides a strong reasoning for his creation as well as the reasoning for #2. My view is that Plagueis created Anakin behind Sidious' back and then hid him away on Tatooine. Sidious found out when Anakin was brought to Coruscant and that is when Sidious killed Plagueis.

Force has its own will, which is not apparent.

Immaculate conception of Anakin was striking manifestation of the will of the Force in this particular case and that was a sign his entire lineage ,if happens, and did happened,(again its will of the Force if Force let him had children) have special purpose by the will of the Force.

If genetics will have influence in one's Force abilities, finding Force sensitive individuals trough out galaxy, with the technology of Star Wars civilization level, will be available while babies of all creatures in galaxy still are fetuses, it will be most easy job, easiest than finding a good pilot or trooper.

Also in this case entire families will have grace, and stigma to, of been Force-carriers. Which will be catastrophy.

One family has this grace, and stigma , Skywalkers, but not because genes, but because of extraordinary clearly defined event of manifested Will of the Force in creation of the first in a lineage, Anakin, by immaculate conception.

Thus its impossible genes are responsible for the level of Force ablities. Birth of every Force sensitive person is directed by the will of the Force, pereceived as "chance" by lower beings.

However in case of Skywalkers, again, the will of the Force was clearly manifested supernatural event in the start of their family, which gives clear supernatural significance to this entire lineage .

One thing also will be strange to say at least, if in the New trilogy (and new Canon) Luke had never loved women.

In the Expanded Universe, Luke is quite the ladies man. His combination of farmboy charm, jedi powers, and boyish good looks seemed to make women fall instantly in love with him in his young ages, and later his legendary status, curriage, experience and wisdom as well as honesty and reliability also made many women charmed by him.
Few of his relationships got off the ground, however, and most of those that did were doomed to end in tragedy.

If Luke didn't had love in New Canon this will be probably most radicaly changed character in New Canon compared to Expanded Universe of all characters in Star Wars.

Here is list of Lukes' loving affairs in EU (the last one became his wife).

    Dani
    Shira Brie (Lumiya)
    Tanith Shire
    Alexandra Winger
    Gaeriel Captison
    Mary
    Teneniel Djo
    Jem
    Callista Ming
    Akanah Norand
    Mara Jade

I named this thread Luke's Gnostic testament.

Gnosis means an insight. And this insight....and the spark I felt ....

I apologize if I made you all deluded in case I am wrong, I just simply felt it.

    Meet Rey's mom.
