Luke's Location and Possible Link of Him to Rey

    (Source IGN) For awards consideration, Disney has released the screenplay for Star Wars: The Force Awakens to the Writers Guild, which provides new insight into the film's ending and other key plot points.

    According to the script, the planet on which Rey (Daisy Ridley) meets Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) during the film's final moments is called "Ahch-to" and is said to feature a "pristine and mighty" ocean that is "dotted with random, beautiful, mountainous black rock islands," as well as "countless green trees." Not much is known about the planet, but /Film notes that Ahch-to is Hebrew for brother, which may be a clue as to Rey's relation to Luke.

    The screenplay also makes it clear that Luke is well aware of who Rey is, saying Skywalker "doesn’t need to ask her who she is, or what she is doing here." It also describes Hamill's character has having "kindness in his eyes" despite the "tortured" feelings within.

    Kylo actual makes a point during interrogation to highlight how rey thinks about Ahch-to. Question is, how does rey know about Ahch-to if she was possibly only at the academy and then dropped off on Jakku? Then furthermore, if there is a possibility that it is the first jedi temple, how does that connect to rey?

    I'm pretty sure Rey has had a vision of the island through the force, Maz hints at it on Takadona. Wookiepedia indicates that Ahch-to is where the first temple was, and I believe Skellig has remains of an old monastary. As to how Rey is connected, if she isn't directly connected to Luke than chances are that Obi-Wan is a blood relative/descendant of some kind.Prehaps the old temple site is still very attuned to the light, making it an ideal place to talk to force ghosts, and she'll meet/remember Obi-Wan?

    According to the script leak (which Pablo Hidalgo confirmed is real), the planet's name is Ahch-To.

    I figured it out now....
    Luke and Lor San Tekka's daughter (yet to be revealed) are Rey's parents.
    In Rey's vision, she see's a sad Luke Skywalker who is cremating the body of Rey's mother (probably), who has been killed by Snoke or Kylo Ren. After the cremation, Luke puts Rey into Lor's care and mind wipes her. Luke then leaves Jakku to go into exile on Ahch-To. Rey then grows up and drifts off into a live of scavenging not knowing her real name. She assumes the name of an X-Wing pilot, Captain Dosmit "Raeh" whose helmet she has found and has become a fan of. She also makes a small doll of him too. . .
