1 minute, rey holds out the bespin sabre to him and they just stare at each other in shock while a wide heli-pan shot goes around them

And this particular shot, is probably the most epic shot in the movie imo.

Not in the the rumored "flashback" sequence as some reports had predicted?

The scene at the campfire, which lasts less than a second, is part of the flashback. No scene of Luke training padawans.

I've read reviews say it is the most epic part of the movie. They don't say Luke and Rey they just say the ending shot and that JJ hints at Rey being his daughter, so if she is we won't know until EPVIII.

By the way. Was it mentioned at all, at any point, that Luke's padawans are dead? I don't think this was specifically stated. He could, in theory, have a lot of living padawans hidden somewhere. Just thinking about all the possibilities. There's a very brief flashback to the Knights of Ren killing a bunch of creatures/people. Those bodies could be Luke's students or something else. The opening crawl does state that the First Order believes Luke to be the last Jedi (Jedi being someone who is not a padawan anymore). I guess I'm simply hoping for a lot of lightsabers as fast as possible. :D

About 1 minute. Luke doesn't speak an entire word in the whole movie.
MSW, pastebin, Reddit. IT's true... all of it.

I believe I remember a mention of it...

About one minute, maybe less. But most of it could have been Hamill's stunt double as we only see Luke from behind. Then a close up of Luke's/Hamill's face for about ten seconds or twenty seconds at most.

it is shown more than told (han talks about it a little ) but the "flashback" is done in a brilliant way.

I've seen the movie :) I agree the padawans are in all likelihood dead. But I can't remember if it was expressly stated to be so? We are told Luke stopped training them after Kylo turned to the dark side. And we are shown a lot of bodies. Could there be a twist that some padawans are alive still? Just thinking out loud here :)

I've just watched one leaked scene with Luke... these few seconds, this music... it's simply magnificent. I think that this whole trick, to make whole movie "a quest to find Luke" and to show us him for a short time at the end was a great idea. But now when we finally found Luke I can't wait to see more of him in the next movie!

    It really is :)
idc how long Luke is in the film, I'm just glad to see him again. Looks like they've set up the "search for luke" story really well, this really sent chills up and down my spine.
