First of all, if he was the Emporer's apprentice, inquisitor would have gotten orders directly from him. The fact that Inquisitor is kneeling before a visage of Darth Vader is clear visual vocabulary meant to immediately recall in the mind of every Star Wars fan the following scene and the associated implications:

It is not necessary for Inquisitor to have to 'submit a resume' regarding the origin of his training like General Grievous did for us to 'pick up' on who that person likely was:

Second, Inquisitor is a Sith. He is a re-adaptation of the Sith Inquisitors from the old canon and represents their 're-establishment' into the new canon.
Third, all of the above does not violate Ro2. Ro2 is strictly for Sith Lords, if for no other reason than to help story creators escape the 'pigeonhole' that George Lucas shoved the Sith into with Episode I.

In-universe, though, this does not violate Ro2 because a Sith Inquisitor does not threaten the overall Sith power structure due to the mentality their training bestows. A Sith Lord would never say there are fates worse than death because death is the only thing a Sith Lord truly fears.

So, he is a trained sith, and it's perfectly OK for Darth Vader to train him.

“We’ve made some departures” from Lucas’s ideas, Kennedy conceded, but only in “exactly the way you would in any development process.”

Correction. Inquisitors are NOT sith (as per Star Wars Rebels and the Star Wars Wiki page): "Though not a Sith himself, the Inquisitor was tasked with hunting down and eliminating any Jedi who had survived Order 66,"

Strange, I don't recall hearing him declaring he was not sith. Perhaps the wookipedia author was just cueing in on the visual vocabulary.. You know, the red lightsaber, the sith tats, serving Darth Vader, calling him his master.. clear and obvious signs that the Inquisitor is not a sith, I'm sure..

That's fine, but I do not concur with their statements on this anymore than I concur with their logic on Anakin's force ghost.

Again, that 'pigeonhole' issue somes up here.
Your welcome to post as many webisodes as you want, but there is nothing in my argument that what we see on film contradicts. Nothing. And ultimately, my arguement makes a lot more sense than theirs. Case closed.

What does it matter if inquisitors are considered sith or not? That is just semantics. They still violate the rule of two and the prophecy doesn't give a damn about titles either.

No matter how you look at it the whole basis of MSW plot theory is just that....theory. Theory speculation and one guys interpretation of concept art and extremely vague shot lists. That we don't know are even complete.

    Fair point. On both counts.
I guess it comes down to just who or maybe more accurately what is enforcing this rule..?
    Or accurate for that matter..

Rey knows Kylo Ren and that they are brother and sister and all about Darth Vader enough to say Ren will never be as powerful, but she doesn't know she is Han Solo's daughter, and Leia's, presumably....?!?!?! Han sees Luke's lightsaber and tells the kids to take it to CGI Pirate Lady, but not to Queen Leia?!

There are too many holes in this narrative for me to consider it authentic. But it does do a nice job of piecing together spoilers.

There's definitely a few missing pieces to the puzzle.

I just really hope Luke is more involved in the third act, it just seems like they'd need him to be able to handle Kylo Ren. Finn and Rey aren't proficient enough in the ways of the Force to duel with the Dark Lord. It wouldn't make sense that they could even stand up to him, much less duel to a stalemate.

The disparity should be even greater than Anakin & Obi-Wan going against Dooku! They should have their asses handed to them and ole Luke comes from the tomb to put in work. It would mirror AOTC nicely and be much, much more awesome.

    Emperor´s apprentice was Darth Vader.
Inquisitor was a subordinate to Darth Vader. Not every single soldier who kneels before vader is Sith. ("visual vocabulary" is not a proof, sorry) You are continuing to say Inquisitor = Sith. Sith is a Sith, doesn´t matter if you add "lord" or not. It would be much easier instead of posting video clips of Rebels to show a proof from official sources.
What is "old canon"? You mean Legends? Is there old canon and new canon and both are right? :)
There is difference between sith lord and just sith? :) One is bigger sith than another? I´m sorry, I never knew that offical sources, official canon now in 2015 divides Sith to Sith Lords and the oter sith guys....
So I´m really sorry but till now you didn´t show me a single proof that what you are saying is more than "your truth". I´ve seen Rebels tv show. There was nowhere said that Inquisitor is a SITH and an APPRENTICE to Darth Vader. There may be other official sources unknown to me, so I ask you to point me to the proof. And by that I don´t mean your explanation, but real proof from official source.
P.S.: Case closed. Official source says No Sith. No need to continue this issue. :)

It's not like it's Sith or nothing in the Old Canon anyway. There's always Dark Jedi. Call the Inquistor that, if you prefer, or a Dark Side user.

I appreciate the view, but I'd rather not discuss this inquisitor thing anymore. All I'll say regarding Dark Jedi is how exactly could Inquisitor be a "Dark Jedi" if he was never a Jedi to begin with?

It depends on what your definition of Jedi is. I'm sure there's plenty of lay people in the Star Wars galaxy who refer to all Force users as Jedi. But yeah, not worth arguing over semantics.
