It could be dramatic if done the right way. Like maybe if he was introduced right before, or if the climax was at that tomb he's guarding.

I hope what's wrong is the opening with the lightsaber spinning through space and landing on the planet...

Why does everyone have a problem with synopsis? Personally, I love how the heroes are defeated like in Empire. it reminds me of Empire... which is great because, you know, it's awesome.
Kylo leaves Rey and Finn hanging on a weather vane...er... cliff until Chewie the galactic chauffeur saves them.
Han eats it... again. Except it's worse than being frozen.
Luke doesn't do anything, except cry about his ruined Academy. Typical pre-rotj Luke.
Leia's superweapon fails and her one true love eats it... again. no saving him this time!

Poe crashes a bunch of ships but ends up saving the resistance from... some weapon that does something bad. yea poe!

But the real hero? THE FIRST ORDER GENERAL (aka: the nihilist that takes out everyone's ships). At least SOMEONE is taking out some TIE Fighters besides Poe.

Personally, I think this is the beat. This movie is about Poe being a badass, and theres really no room for old actors.... so killing off and marginalizing everyone over 50 seems to work. Even MvS gets the proper old dude send off. anyone seen Expendables or Rocky Balboa? Old people are slow and boring.

Awesome times ahead! Poe v General Badass in Episode VIII.

NOt mention the 3 days shooting with Daisy on that island. The cave scene when she entered and offered him his lightsaber - I see studio scene, no need to built a cave in skellig michael island, right? There has to be more....

Mentoring a Jedi. Anakin wasn´t Sith yet and Sheev didn´t teach him anything Sithish. He became a Sith and the apprentice AFTER Tyranus death.
Utilizing someone doesn´t mean he is your apprentice. Grievous wasn´t Sith, Tyranus just showed him how to use sabers.
In canon Vader is training Inquisitors?? I don´t know nothing about it. When? How? Are they Sith?????
Vader told that Luke could be turned and become an ally. Ok. But that was a Lie, wasn´t it? Vader wanted Luke to destroy the Emperor and rule together as father and son. And the Emperor? Yes of course, he wanted Luke to be turned. "Kill your father and replace him by my side...."

The rule of two is still going on.....

The implication of the Vader/Emperor dialogue was that they would be happy with another agent.

I see your point but that is very much a technicality. The rule of 2 is upheld by semantics.

You know what's ridiculous? Luke, as in non-flashback Luke, only showing up in what amounts to a post-credit tease for Episode VIII. "If you liked seeing Han and Leia again in this film, you'll LOVE seeing Luke again in VIII." Utter garbage. And why does he have to show up out of nowhere? I still like the idea that Luke starts following the new team at some point during the film, staying in the shadows and waiting for the new evil he senses (Uber) to show itself; he then reveals himself once they're in mortal danger via Kylo. It would only take a scene or two of a "hidden figure" in a few key scenes to set this up, and the Luke/Kylo duel would only really need Hamill and Driver to film.

You know what else is ridiculous? Assuming that we know, that anyone besides JJ knows, the entire film at this point. Spoilers and leaks only give us so much, and speculation is all we have beyond those. Shooting down speculation just because it doesn't jive with what you think is "true" is not conducive to what I thought this site was supposed to be.

Oh, now I remember who this guy is.

    http://www.firstshowing.net/2013/exclusive-how-x-men-days-of-future-past-teases-x-men-apocalypse/

I hated that when I read that.

    It wasn't true.

Saying the article is 90% correct...anybody can do that. There's obviously a good deal of interpretation within it that could be wrong.

I may not be that good in english, but I know the difference between being someone´s commander - superior in charge, the one giving orders, and someone who actually trains the dark side of the force to the apprentice. Apparently - you don´t. Let me explain - from what you showed is clear that Vader is the superior of the Inquisitor. That I never questioned. It´s crystal clear. But that is no evidence whatsoever that the Inquisitor is Vader´s APPRENTICE. It doeasn´t imply that Vader taught anything to the Inquisitor. Just that he gives him orders. I don´t know how else I could explain. You can believe that Inquisitors are Vader´s apprentices, maybe even sith apprentices, but saying it thousand times will not makes it to be truth. And the rule of two SITH is still canon.

Luke just showing up out of nowhere at the end of TFA would be non-sense too.
