I'm so excited about Thor 3, but I'm disappointed Sif will not be in it.

    Thor Ragnarok is freaking incredible.
    It's just phenomenal.
    Hilarious. Heavy. HILARIOUS.
    It's psychedelic. It's vibrant.
It's a comic book on the screen.

I just got back from Thor: Ragnarok, and I can't help but wonder if I saw a different movie than everyone else. I feel like it's been overpraised. It's good fun and all, but it just seems like there was something keeping it from being "great" to me.

It's a very Taika Waititi movie and it won't hit for everyone.
His style and humor is very unique.

It's really less his style and more along the lines of me expecting more from the movie as far as setting-building went. Leading up to the release of the movie, they were talking about how the movie was "the beginning of the end of everything" and hinted that the film would be as crucial for the story of Avengers: Infinity War as Captain America: The Winter Soldier was for Avengers: Age of Ultron. The only real lead-ins to Avengers: Infinity War were the throwaway joke about Hela pushing the fake Infinity Gauntlet over, Thor mentioning that he hasn't found any of the Infinity Stones, and the first post-credits scene. It felt less like a game-changer and more like another Marvel movie (which I should stress isn't inherently a bad thing).

Got to disagree with that. Thor has fully unlocked his innate powers, become King, has his home destroyed and his people become refugees, Loki is in possession of the Tesseract once again, Banner is now "trapped" as the Hulk etc.

Winter Soldier barely affected Age of Ultron plot-wise as well, the changes came in the form of Captain America's characterisation. The same thing has happened with Thor in Ragnarok.

Funny, Taika Waititi was just joking that the shake-weight that was in Thor: Ragnarok was the same one that he had while filming his minor role in Green Lantern.

Ok sorry then I just read the article (haven't watched the video) & that is what they appeared to be joking about though seeing Aquaman go up against Thor or Hulk would be cool

I just got back from seeing Thor 3 and it was awesome!

I think I know why Thor's mom liked Loki so much despite him being adopted.
Because he reminded her of her daughter.

That's some great writing and continuity if true.
