    Possibility Four:

Some combination of Kanan/Ezra/Ahsoka die, and the remaining retreat/escape/leave to Lira San in the Wild Space region. It's been established in the Zeb-focused episode that the Ghost crew now can go back there, and that it is "protected" by the imploded star cluster. Kallus is the only known Imperial to know of its existence, and now he won't be telling it.

If they don't all die, the story group will need to find a way for these Force users to be conveniently "tucked away" from the main part of the galaxy during the OT (unless possibility three is true). Having them go to Lira San does just that. The fact that we know that the Lasat on Lira San are Force Users to some degree would give even more credence to why Kanan/Ezra/Ahsoka would go there.

If that is the case, then either Yoda can no longer reach them due to distance (if that is a thing) or simply knows they are no longer "available" and from that certain point of view he is correct in what he tells Luke.

    Agree.

According to Mendel's Laws of Genetics that could be the reason why.

When I saw that episode I thought that too, they might be gone to Lira San during the OT.

Another thing to remember that neither Obi-Wan nor Yoda were being straight forward with Luke. They were giving him selective information to motivate him towards their goal of destroying the Sith.

A dying Yoda wouldn't say, "It's ok if you mess up. There's Kanan and Ezra out there." And when Obi-Wan said how the Jedi were all but extinct he had just finished lying about what happened to Luke's father.

it seems like a more "tready lightly" moment with Kenobi being in season 3. I feel that its going to only be one episode we will see him in just like the other cameos we get. This is the first time we get to see Obi-Wan on screen after order 66. It just seems fitting that if Ezra told Kanan that Master Kenobi might be alive then I would thing Kanan would want to somehow get to him and let him know that Caleb Dume aka Kanan Jarrus has survived the purge.

Speaking of "Kanan Jarrus" Doesn't most of the Empire know who he really is? He should go back to his old name.

I can't wait for this showdown, I hope Ezra and Kanan swing in to save Kenobi.

Side Note: Scrimshaw noted he would prefer to see Kenobi vs. Maul on the big screen, but that couldn't have been sold to the general public considering most people saw Maul for the last time in 2 pieces falling down thousands of stories. Audiences would be confused if they included Maul in a film out of nowhere after 20 years.

There is something to be said about his CW story being a bit derivative of Asajj Ventress vs. Dooku. They kind of repeated it with the Mandos thrown in, which worked to bring the Mandos in, so it was worth it. Although it might have been interesting to see Kanan and Ezra discover him for the first time, which could have been an amazing wild card for them.
