Further potential evidence that Leia's base is on Naboo and that Episode IX ends with her being crowned the new Queen of Fashion Insanity.

You rated my comment about where Naboo is located as ''Off-topic'' first and It was absolutely on topic.
    --- Double Post Merged, Oct 10, 2015 ---
Jar Jar home was Coruscant after TPM events, not Naboo.
    --- Double Post Merged, Oct 10, 2015 ---
Naboo would be actualy cool base for Leia. Leia is in fact Naboo.
    Naboo people are her people.
Luke and Leia whole family from their mother side are Naboo.

So that would really make Naboo Leia home planet.

Indeed. Now that she's cast herself off from the other Alderaanian survivors, Naboo is basically the only 'home' Leia has. And whether or not the Resistance base ends up being located there, it's interesting that the Marvel comics have already depicted Leia visiting Naboo two times.

First of all, you were talking about Tatooine, so I thought you were bringing up Tatooine = Jakku (and someone else rated it Off Topic before me). I have changed the rating to "Disagree." Second, Naboo is still listed as Mid Rim and Jakku is Outer Rim no matter how close they are to Tatooine. Third, that means you rated my comment Off Topic to be vindictive. Next time ask me to clarify.

I don't recall the source, but one of the story group folks at Lucas film mentioned a (in an interview?) that there's unexplored territory between Mon Mothma and Leia. Mon knew Padme well, and there's likely a moment where Leia discovers the truth, and that leads to stronger ties with Naboo.

Shattered empire seems like it's starting down this path in a serious way. And I couldn't be more excited. :)

If, hypothetically, Mon Mothma was somehow in The ST, how old would you think her to be/would she even be alive and would her life be covered in a potential comic for her? I think a comic series dedicated to her would be interesting and more intimate without too much action and a more character-driven piece.

I think you're thinking about Greg Rucka's interview on StarWars.com about Shattered Empire. He said he'd love to write the scene where Leia goes to Mon and says "Hey, I just realized, you probably knew my mother, right?". The way he phrased it implied that this isn't something we'll be seeing in Shattered Empire, though, unfortunately.

    Actualy you were first.

I was talking about Naboo location in Galaxy, not about Tatooine = Jakku.
My point was we know from the movies location of Tatooine. It is Outer Rim world. For Naboo was stated in movies that is very close to Tatooine. So position of Naboo in Mid Rim is not really clear.

Some sources put Naboo in Outer Rim.

Naboo is also planet that is featured extensively in new canon novels and comics.

Naboo is mentioned or appearing in:

    - Dark Disciple
    - Lords of the Sith
    - Tarkin
    - A New Dawn
    - Star Wars: Princess Leia, Part I
    - Star Wars: Princess Leia, Part II
    - Star Wars: Princess Leia, Part III
    - Star Wars: Darth Vader 6: Vader, Part VI
    - Star Wars: Darth Vader 8: Shadows and Secrets, Part II
    - Star Wars: Darth Vader 9: Shadows and Secrets, Part III
    - Star Wars: Darth Vader 10: Shadows and Secrets, Part IV
    - Return of the Jedi: Beware the Power of the Dark Side!
    - Star Wars: Shattered Empire, Part II
    - Aftermath
    - Lost Stars
    - Star Wars: Lando

It is definitely one of the central worlds in the new canon.

It would be cool if Leia would be elected as Naboo Queen.

Yes. Naboo from another directorial perspective is a juicy thought IMO. Naboo has great potential. I was so upset when I first saw the yellow fighters leaving the hangar. Very unrealistic motion wise. I would love to see it for what it really is but it has to be done right. Leia, the daughter of Padme residing on her mothers home world would be cool. Seeing Carrie Fisher in new and familiar naboo locations would give me a sense of closure regarding my as yet unsatisfied hunger to see aspects of the prequels get the justice they deserve.

No, I wasn't first in rating it Off Topic. I saw the other person's rating, and that's one reason I thought you were bringing up Tatooine = Jakku. I thought you were being cheeky and basically saying, "well, Tatooine is close enough to be Jakku..." I apologize for not reading it more carefully.
I figured out what you meant; that's why I changed the rating to disagree. You still should have asked rather than giving me an "Off Topic." I would have changed it if you had explained it. That was specifically a false rating on your part when you had no context for why I did it.
What sources give Naboo as Outer Rim? Are they canon? "So position of Naboo in Mid Rim is not really clear." The sources I've seen say Mid Rim.
It doesn't matter anyway, I think it is clear now that they are different planets.

i would really like to see both Luke and Leia on Naboo at some point.

Also Padme had family on Naboo. Mother, Father, Sister and two nieces. Some of them are potentially still alive. So that would mean that Leia and Luke have living family on Naboo.

In the old EU, Pooja became Senator of Naboo and worked with Leia in the Imperial Senate.

I wonder when we're going to see how Luke and Leia found out who their mother was.

    In a word, no.

Exactly, AND Padme' was entombed on Naboo after she died...we'd also like to believe that Luke and/or Leia had visited her grave....at least I would like to think so, as a sign of respect.

That sounds familiar, but I want to say there's been other hints that this happened. Agree that shattered empire is unlikely the place to expand on this, and probably shouldn't be.

Naboo being politically tied to the republic is perhaps the most natural reason for Leia to get drawn in to visit more often. That said, I want to believe there's more to it. Something left behind that instructs or inspires Leia into her Resistance roles in ep vii and beyond, and the root is somehow connected to Padme. (E.g. imagine Padme kept a recorded diary that was somehow shared with Leia, and she uses it to understand how things fell apart in the old regime)

I would really love to see something like that in new canon too.
To see Leia and Luke with their family on Naboo.

Bail Organa was also very good friend of Padme.
He raised Leia, maybe he did talk to Leia about Padme.

It's a Cloned Naboo located on a moon of Endor. It's part of the defeated Imperials' secret plan to build a Gungan army to take down their arch-nemesis: the EWOKS.
All leading to Episode VIII: The Jarr Jarr Strikes Back*

*Jarr Jarr being a clone of course...created at the same time as Luuke.

    And Jakku is Jakku.

I know what true meaning of the family is. But I'am not sure that you do. Padme family is Luke and Leia family, but I will not call Padme family a Skywalker family.
But we already discuss about that topic to death.
