    herro everybody i'm alex flores but almost everybody calls me poe because my cousin gave me a leather jacket that looks identical to poe dameron's jacket and he did say "it looks good on you keep it" and when I told my friends this story a nickname was given to me poe, like everyone here i'm a huge star wars fan but it sparked even more because of TFA in a way i lost hope after the prequels. out of my friend group i'm the only person who has a true passion for star wars like everybody else likes star wars but they're not a big fan as i am. I want to join the air force when i'm older the x-wings may or may not have something to do with that.

    Hi everyone! Been lurking here for some time and finally decided to sign up and join the forum. I'm Connie and I've been a longtime Star Wars fan ever since I saw ROTJ in the movie theater in 1983 as an 8 year old. I remember being frightened of Chewie (at first) and loving the Ewoks. I'm also a fan of the science fiction / fantasy genre overall.

    Recently, I've branched out in Star Wars mythology by catching up with The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, reading Bloodline by Claudia Gray and the Poe Dameron comic by Charles Soule and Phil Noto. I guess you could say that TFA revived my love of all things Star Wars (having waned a bit in the 90s). It's a wonderful time to be a Star Wars fan!

    Anyways, happy to be here! Hope everyone has a great day.
