The guy claimed the Poe/Lor San Tekka image was from the Lightsaber Rescue book.

"the Lor San Tekka picture is from a book called 'Lightsaber Rescue' it's a children's board book with a sound effects bar on the side. Doesn't give away much other than that cool picture.

It was really only 3 or 4 thick board pages. One interesting bit was that Unkar Plutt is the owner of the trading post on Jakku and offers Rey 'a lot of food' for BB-8 and she refuses him."

Reminds me of a book I had for Episode IV as a kid, didn't really say much. A very highly simplified account of Star Wars

And, also, back then, there was not this much hype so no one cared.

Once ANH (aka "Star Wars") became a hit, the hype was huge. The pre-release hype for ESB was enormous.

I don't care much about the look or originality of planets in Star Wars. To me, they've always been backdrops for great costumes, aliens, architecture, and most importantly, character and story. In science fiction, the variety of places and environments can be interesting and vital to the story, but in science fantasy, like SW, it only matters to me as an setting for the most crucial landscape: the story.

Don't forget, if this was any of the previous Star Wars movies - barring the first one - the actual novelisations would be on shop shelves right now.
We are far less spoiled about a new Star Wars movie than we have been since 1977.
Apart from anything officially available, we've only really had one dude's often ineloquent interpretation of a leaked shooting schedule which was heavily coded, some stolen concept art and a handful of photo leaks to go on really...

Is it just me or could JJ have gone a little more original with the planet names? They all have hard K sounds.

    Jakku
    Takodana
    D'Qar
    Even Starkiller.

Making up names is hard, I favor T and Z sounds myself such as... I almost gave the name of one of my major villains forgetting my "editor" would skin me alive

I swear to God, if J.J. gets lazy with the use of consonants in his made-up space opera names I WILL WALK RIGHT OUT OF THE THEATRE.

I think an even simpler explanation would be that it's all about alliteration and similarities of names so that it's better name recognition.

It's more than a little odd and sort of off-putting that there is now not a single recognizable planet/location in a film with so many recognizable characters. It seems strange that we'd be so far afield of where we've been, and sort of smacks of the new team trying too hard to put their "this is new, this ours" stamp on things. Not sure I'm crazy about it. I was good with just Yavin IV being in it. But now, not even that. What happened to all of those other locations? Will they even be mentioned? Yes, I know the universe is a big place. But to have no connection of "place" seems like a misstep.

I just think J.J. wants to start a new chapter and not have a million connections like Anakin built C3PO or Chewiw knew Yoda or Luke was dumped on the same planet that Anakin was born or........etc....

    you get he picture

However, I do agree with you that perhaps Yavin would have been cool

If you miss the OT stuff get ready for ROGUE ONE cause it's all going to return.

It is possible that ROGUE ONE make 80% of what this one will make or more at the BO just because it has OT OLD SCHOOL STUFF

One of the key elements of OT was it was set on obscure, barely settled (if at all) planets in the Outer Rim, it's all happening on the fringes of the Galaxy. PT was more 'in the halls of power', set on major established worlds like Coruscant and Naboo. Whether the worlds are new or not, the key thing is tFA is limiting the OT here....

Oh if it is the bracelet.... then well yes someone robbed Padme's grave.... but if this scene is connected with Anakin's Lightsaber ... one of the Prime candidates for retrieving the LIghtSaber from Bespin in Vader himself. Whoever obtained it then got it from wherever Vader put it. It's an 'out there' idea, could Vader himself have left the LightSaber, a relic of his Anakin past, as an 'offering' at Padme's tomb..... thus the two were 'looted' together

    I disagree.

On Earth alone there is thousands and thousands of forest types.

    For example:

    1. Cactus forest

    2. Palm forest

    3. Bamboo forest

    Ect..

And if we go really alien ( as I really like ).

    1. Red forest from Star Trek is great example

Like I said before, only imagination is a limit.
