SPOILER New "Report" About Han or Chewie

When I learned about the Titanic, I never went to see the movie...

 

There's lots of context and dialogue missing and I'm sure a lot more as well, but if the third act is anything like what I just imagined in my head while reading that, DAMN that was awesome.

What Han die maybe but if character goes out that way it would be suitable than being on the run or exile because it would have fan speculating a inevitable return.

 

I just want to point out, without having any sources in several posts I have speculated that I believed Chewie would die before Han dies. I am always willing to be wrong, but I have said this for a long, long time.

 

Write out Han friggin Solo???

No way, man. Han's personality is such that he would never just go away. Someone would have to silence him for him to not be present.

If this follows the pattern of the first chapters from the last two trilogies, a character dies in order to push the protagonist (Rey) forward.

 

I would caution that it is way too early in the ballgame to make a call on anyone dying... I will say that it is possible a character is presumed dead. There is another potential scene (also unconfirmed) where Han and the gang are attacking Starkiller base and presumed dead until Poe swoops over and alerts the Alliance they are still alive.

This would have so much more meaning if I knew what a Vector Prime maneuver was

I think the first time I read anything about Solo's death was on MSW, and when I read the article closely, all the source said was that Solo goes down and isn't seen again... the source never actually said he dies, that all gets inferred, and it got run with. I said it then, I say it now. If Solo goes down, it;'ll be a carbonite maneuver, and VIII will be his rescue.

Luke dying is nothing, he can die in the first five minutes... hell, he could have died 10 years ago and still be in all three movies. Leia dying would piss everyone slap off and rally the troops to decimate anyone responsible. Han dying is expected... so I don't think it will happen. Chewie dying would be a kick in the gut that none of us would recover from.

If Han goes down, I hate to be anything between Chewie and whoever brought him down... and then god save whoever that poor fool was. The only reason he wouldn't go all Wookie rage on them is if Han said, "Leia, you have to take care of Leia"

Wookies have been known to pull people's arms out of their sockets... we ain't never seen Chewie rage

This is all true... it has also been put forth that Luke is present at the battle with Kylo, which would line up with the concept art (the green saber) and negate having to go to him... them in the falcon going after Han, ala the end of ESB, however, would be fitting

Ford isn't the man he was 30 years ago... he had his, "I'm not Spock" phase, and honestly as an actor it has to be hard to be that iconically tied to a role. But he has grown and matured... even though he had done American Graffiti before Star Wars, that was really the beginning of his career as an actor... in retrospect, he now knows all the fame he has received from his multiple other roles all comes from that, and in time he seems far more grateful.

The Force.net claims to have a source with a very different ending. If their source is correct, both Han and Chewie make it out alive.

I like this summary a lot better than MSW's. Not only does Han live, but it's exactly what Luke should do. Show up out of nowhere in the 3rd act, when all hope is lost, and kick Kylo's ass.

 

People need to stop using this photo as proof Han is dead. They are not filming here, they are in between shots, Ridley is in a hoodie reading lines and waiting for the set to get set up. I'm not 100 percent convinced this is the falcon as there are NO seats behind them (there are four in the falcon cockpit).

 

This keeps popping up all over the Cantina and I think the consensus is that it is fan fiction.

 

Off course that was the Titanic's fate.

 

I can't believe how many people are even discussing Chewie's death. Really? Han would die before him. As many have said, Han's death would be the best motivator for Rey and Finn as they would look up to him. (Not to mention Rey is prob his daughter.) I personally think that he'll get wounded & be in a med bay, fate uncertain, at the end of TFA. (With Leia talking about Chewie not being able to live w/o him, etc.) Either way, Han will at the latest be dead by the 2nd act of Ep VIII.

Wouldn't be the first time faking had a big scoop that turned out to be real... they did have the audio for the last trailer at least a day ahead of time
