The weapon will "Force" the Alliance and Empire to fight together in Episode VIII. The "Natural" against the "Unnnnnnnnnn Natural"

Star Wars cartoons? Great.. But when they mess with pre-established canon (like conveniently bringing cut-in-half and obviously dead characters back to life) and make Yoda have schizophrenic fist fights with his imaginary evil twin.. It takes all the mystique of the saga and just fills it in with low grade cement.

Oh yeah, and this is the final nail in the coffin.. The Force Planet.

I dislike that these cartoons (written with the intention of entertaining young children for a few minutes at a time) are now (under Disney's new canon rules) just as credible to Star Wars universe as Empire Strikes Back or A New Hope. It's ridiculous.

They actually went to George to get his blessing on the Force planet and the Force Priestess

Just see it as the Wills having studied under the Force Priestesses as well. Then Qui-Gon started researching the teachings of the Wills but died before he could finish learning all he could and it fits nicely actually. Those episodes were a lot closer to the essence of Star Wars mysticism then the prequels.

I'm not the only one who posts whilst going through the DT's. Nice!

I concur. A menacing character spanning the trilogy is a must....but having a superweapon span the whole kettle of peppers would be something new. Each episode could get closer and closer to deleting it.

    I'm down.

A new super weapon could be the creation of a being strong enough to match the power of Luke Skywalker. The reason to collect body parts could be to get the power of the midichlorians inside.

P.S. Did you know that midichlorians date back to before ESB was written?

It's still a stupid idea which demystifies the force.

I swear some of you are going to get to the point where a mere reference to the Force will cause you to bemoan it's "demystification."

    No.

I swear some of you have already got to the point where Lucas could make Pee Wee Herman a Sith Lord and you wouldn't bat an eyelid.

Maybe you just haven't noticed the absurd number of occurrences where people (like yourself) will complain about anything that dare messes with the Force.

And I don't know why you're dissing Lucas. With a name like yours, I thought you'd be the biggest fan of his bathroom humor.

EDIT: thanks for the epic fail. Now I know you're cool.

Guys stay on topic. We are not debating the cartoons we are talking about whether or not there will be a new super weapon.

That's going to be difficult if it's a Force weapon of some sort, because some people abhor the thought of the Force being tampered with.

Be interesting to see the reaction by some if it does turnout to be some ancient weapon on the Sith home world that needs to be activated by Luke and...the Force.

I actually wouldn't have a problem with that at all, I like the idea of the Sith trying to conceptualize what the force is. I think the Sith should be the ones talking about midichlorians, whereas the light side should just accept it for what it is. The Sith should be a metaphor for what happens when we go too deep into something and lose the essence of it in the process.

I think indeed that may be the movie where we learn a little more on what is the Sith perspective on The Force.

Movie-Wise, we haven't got much yet but vague stuff... You don't know the power of the darkside....abilities some consider unnatural... blee blaa...

Maybe that is why they casted an A Actor as Kylo Ren so it mirrors Luke's journey from ANH.
