    I was unaware.

Surprised they'd tease that interaction so early.

I loved this episode, and have some new thoughts to share about some parts that some folks pointed.

Electrician Leia didn't bother me. I liked it. Why a 10-year-old electrician didn't bother me? Because a 9-year-old slave boy building a droid, a pod racer, a winning the most dangerous pod race didn't bother me. A Skywalker kid is a badass!

Stabbed Reva, not killed. This one can be more complex and there is a possibility this could make a lot of sense. During the Reva v Vader duel, I also thought Reva would ended up like Count Dooku, decapitated. However, Anakin really hated Dooku, and his pure hate/revenge made him do that. The flashbacks were about Anakin/Vader being "always a Padawan" focusing on victory. Once he realized Kenobi played him again to escape, something must have clicked on him. Sparing Reva's life could be his first act as "master of evil", as it could be the right play. See below.

Grand Inquisitor return. Reva seemed surprised. Perhaps she believed she had really killed him. I don't think Reva would have made a call: "Hey, I just stabbed my boss. Can someone picked him up and place him in a bacta tank?" No, someone else "found" him and did that.

The origins of the Inquisitors. All we know is that "some of them used to be Jedi", turned to the dark side, and hunt their own now. But how did that happen? Did they voluntarily joined the dark side or were peacefully recruited? I believe Reva's flashback (and Part 4) gave us a hint. I believe young Reva was indeed fully stabbed, possibly fatally, during the events of Order 66. Part 4 showed us what Kenobi described as "a tomb". But, was it really a tomb? Does it make sense to keep them just for exhibition? Why it has to be kept in the Fortress Inquisitorius? The best explanation is that this tomb is really a storage facility to produce future inquisitors, after some resurrection/healing process plus brainwashing process and bows of loyalty. If Reva was tabbed in the stomach as a youngling, she must have implants in that area. If Bobba Fett was able to hire a similar service for Fennec Shand in a poor planet like Tatooine, why can't the Empire provide this?

And what if each inquisitor has a tracker? After all, they are all Vader's toys/minions. That could explain how the Grand Inquisitor was found. And it could also explain why Vader let Reva live. He knows that she can lead him to Kenobi again.

My prediction for Part 6 (feel free to stop reading if you wish)
is that Reva goes to Tatooine, with the intention to kill Kenobi, learns about all the remaining secrets of the Skywalker family, and understand the Yoda/Kenobi's ultimate long-term plan to defeat Vader and the Emperor. She reveals to Kenobi more details about the so-called Tomb and its real purpose, placing the seed for a future show (or season) to make have the objective to destroy it. Vader and the rest of Inquisitors tracked Reva to Tatooine for a final confrontation: 4 vs 2, and Reva eventually dies protecting the Skywalker family secrets. And Qui-Gon, of course!

Looking forward to next Wednesday as usual.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Darth Wait!!!!

This stuff is so baked into Star Wars' DNA its like complaining about Batman wearing a mask. :)
Add to your list of 'kid power' moments:
    • Little Rey being abandoned on a desert planet and left to survive on her own; and
    • Baby Yoda trying to play amateur Electrician -- alas, unsuccessfully -- just like little Leia did back in the day in this episode.

    Thx :)

With all SW shows I've adopted a new habit :) I usually watch the same chapter the day after. I only do this with SW. I like one episode per week (I already have the screenshots for later)

I really can understand your point.
We live in a time we spend lots of hours watching shows. Some are better, some not. Some are well done, some not that much. And its easy to compare. I also do it. Problem is the taste and demands are different in everyone.

I also compared OW with 2 of my recent shows. And both are absolutely brilliant. Both Pilots are masterpieces of the recent TV and the scripts and castings of next episodes are absolutely incredible. Am talking about Tokyo Vice and Pachinko. Am still looking for a bad dialog, or scene or something out of place. Cause the scripts, oh the scripts and interpretations are so so good. With 50 miuntes per episode. And when I think about those shows, I can not avoid to think that OW could have been much much better. But is basically for one thing: scripts. OW could have had better scripts, dialogs and setpieces? Absolutely yes. But the Star Wars plus is always welcomed, cause always we can find a couple of interesting things. I guess.

Curiously yestarday I started Star Trek SNW and yes, the first 2 are suprisingly so good. So consistent, with great interpretations and great visuals.
Or why can not talk about Yellowstone, Winning time, Atlanta, Euphoria, We own this city...? Fantastic and marvellous shows.

Still think Andor will be a great combination of SW and a really really great story.
Like it or not, it's cool to be alive these freaky days. :)

Add to that - she's also the daughter of that 9-year-old tech whiz.

Maybe she got the good genes and is the true successor to the Skywalker legacy!

I bet that scrawny Wade guy could have fit through that hatch. Hmm, too bad.
It’s hard to tell in the episode, but how long was Leia up there? Was it a few minutes or a whole hour? Seemed like a pretty long while. Was she looking at the same bunch of wires the entire time? This genuinely made me laugh.

You know how Reva is so angry at everyone for not protecting her during Order 66, even Obi-Wan, who wasn't even at the Temple? I just saw someone on the Internets make the point that she probably hates the Grand Inquisitor particularly because he used to be a Temple guard. Ouch.

Obi-Wan figured they had an hour to get it fixed. They only barely got away after some stalling, so yeah... I'm going to go with it being nearer the hour. At least!

It didnt come from fans, Kennedy used those words at the Disney Investor Day 2020, so its not fans fault for expecting it. If they aren't going to deliver it having the President of Lucasfilm announce it to the world was not a good idea.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Then it will have to be somehow tied to preventing him from getting the info about what Reva learned about Tatooine? I’m actually more intrigued about what the writers come up with now!

So in all these years of being a SW fan, I have to say that I never really got the chills when Vader was on screen. Until this series.

When I first saw it as a kid, we just knew he was bad by looking at his costume design. There was no reason other than that, we didn't know why he was the way he was. We were just told he was the worst around, and we bought it. Then we came to respect his evil and mysterious authority, and while he might be randomly choking out some colleagues he still seemed calm and reserved. It was his image that was more threatening than really any of his actions in Empire and Jedi. Then by the end we just started to feel bad for him.

Rogue One did a little bit in bridging that gap back to the "master of evil".... but this series, man. This is Vader unhinged. Walking through streets and mercilessly killing locals, storming into offices and choking Inquisitors, dragging your old BFF through flames on the desert floor, ripping ships out of the air and then to pieces. I'm on the edge of my seat every time he enters the scene, and anytime he starts to speak or even turns his head.

I'm by no means a "Vader fan boy" or whatever you wanna call it, I always liked the character but until now I was never really in awe of him. This series is changing all of that for me. And what's crazy is that we know most of these characters he is interacting with will live. But it's still tense and terrifying the whole way through. Hats off to the writers, actors, and producers for really embracing and selling us on the most-feared-being-in-the-galaxy because I am totally buying it.

    It bothered me a little.

Anakin surely had an aptitude for that type of thing so it makes sense Leia would have the same talents. The difference for me was that Anakin worked in a salvage shop/junk yard so he had all sorts of opportunities to tinker and build stuff and to learn. That he had the opportunity to develop his natural aptitude makes it easier to understand a child showing prodigy level abilities. Leia didn’t seem to have had those same opportunities to develop that talent. You could always say “you don’t know what her hobbies were off screen.” Sure but what about being a well to young daughter of a politician suggests she spends her free time in some shop somewhere?

It would be like asking me believe a kid could see a piano for the first time and play Bach because his dad is a talented pianist.

Clearly not a big deal to the show, but it was one of those moments where I was taken out of the show. I could buy that a talented could do that I just wasn’t given the context to believe it was reasonable like we had with young Anakin.

“Only strength rules” is an…odd one to see among Jedi stuff.

on KK’s comment. If it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen. If we look back, that was 2 years ago. Idk when Kenobi’s writing/planning was really started, but it’s entirely possible it changed in that time.

That said, the ship has a busted hyperdrive, iirc? The two of them could fight even before getting to Tatooine.

All she had to do was find a “red breaker” that was unplugged and it took her like an hour. That’s not ‘playing Bach’. That’s barely chopsticks. She wasn’t doing anything intricate or specialized. She was finding which animal goes ‘moo’. What’s so difficult about that an above average 10 year old couldn't manage?

Maybe I’m so bad at that stuff I didn’t realize the simplicity of the task! Even the way I perceived it, it really wasn’t a big deal. It was just the one moment of the show where I stopped and thought “wait, what?”

Ep. 1 is the lowest point, the base. Ep. 3, Ob1K tore the barrier down. Ep 4, he is on a water moon, where a male and female, and baptism symbols are present. Then Ep. 5 we get a ladder reference, that sticks out as kinda dumb, which always cues me to think about what it means. If we return to the chakras, and kundalini I posted about long ago, this could also be seen as climbing in consciousness. Kundalini is 100% part of Star Wars, and it's like a ladder.

3rd Chakra relates to will, action and getting through a barrier into the heart-- 4th Chakra, where there's the virginal moon goddess Leia, on a water moon. The fortress is another phallus symbol, where Jedi consciousness is entombed, stuck into the water, the female. In the 4th episode, the baptism, a symbol of rebirth through the heart, and caring. Wade in the water, children, unsullied. That's the 4th chakra-- the virgin birth. 100%
That's also the symbolism we saw in TROS with Kylo and Rey on the wreckage of the (death star) death star-- a symbol of the new moon that is not illuminated, one of which death stars Leia, the light of the moon, in ANH was imprisoned. In the TROS scene, you also had the water, the feminine moon, and the masculine ceremonial dagger man part that was placed into the crater, the female part. Kylo died and Ben was reborn. Virgin birth. In ep. 4, Leia is rescued from a moon that actually is a moon. Remember "That's no moon?"

Ep. 5, they got into the mind, the 5th chakra, and Anakin's blue lightsaber symbol. We're climbing the chakras on a ladder, fixing the wires = doing energy work. Metaphor.

That's it. That tells you what the 6th episode is, when we come into contact with Luke, whose green lightsaber in ROTJ (green)symbolized the same heart chakra, the balance in the force, and love. At the 6th chakra, we're at the third eye- spiritual insight, intuition, looking beyond the veil and coming into contact with the divine.

The table hologram in ep 4, is a giant phallus stuck into the female symbol, with sunrays on the floor. It's spiritual regeneration. Rebirth out of the water. Baptism. Are they referring to Reva or to the Jedi in the tomb? Or both? What do you think? In the timeline, Leia is at this point int he myth, the first crescent moon. It could refer to her too. Her first real trial.

If they do a season 2, maybe the entombed Jedi are coming out of the phallus like sperm, to plant the seeds for a new hope to grow.
