SPECULATION Official Knights of Ren in Episode VIII Thread

The film starts off where TFA left. Kylo is injured and headed back to Snoke. My guess this is towards the end of the film.

 

Oh dear.

 

Finn and Rey have scenes at a base together with Benicio Del Toro that E! and The Daily Mail have written about.

Ridley looked like she was at a Resistance Base set in the May the 4th video.

 

So do you reckon they go back to Ach To? Or is this a different planet with a Jedi Temple? It would make more sense for this scene to be near the start or middle of VIII then right at the end.

 

Perhaps they return? They do have a Falcon handy...

 

It's possible they start on Ach-To. Leave Ach-To. And then come back to Ach-To. That's possible.

I'm really hoping this is a dream sequence, similar to Luke's on Dagobah. Anybody feel the same? Sounds cool, but not properly timed. Especially if it starts the film.

 

The rumor with Luke, Rey, Kylo and the knights of Ren... This is the first one where I´m like ( however unlikely it may be ) " Please please please, let this be true..."

 

Everyone has assumed that Rey's vision of the Knight of Ren was from the past. However in her vision she also sees the future. Is it possible that the vision she had of the Knights in the rain is the scene that was leaked this week? That scene is supposed to take place in the rain at night.

 

The dream sequence he's talking about is Rey's vision from TFA.

 

It's starting to sound like Dagobah... SW8 has a tree, Empires had a Tree, SW8 has a wise old jedi master, Empires had a wise old jedi master...

 

Well, this is the website that leaked an entire blow by blow description of TFA months before it hit the screens, so their sources seem to be sound. I think this would work really well near the beginning of the film. Haven't we waited long enough to see Luke kick some ass?

 

Seems like a long shot that this happens early in VIII. VIII supposedly starts right after the end of TFA.

That said.. there has to be some kind of time jump in the film for Kylo Ren to heal.

 

Who says they can't leave AHCH-TO, then come back?

 

No one, like Magnar says they could leave and then come back. Am I not allowed to think it would come across as confused?

 

My prediction, starts with Ren and Hux returning to Snoke (has to start in space) - we then go to where VII left off Rey and Luke chat about the Jedi and stuff. Go to the resistance - maybe the Dubrovnik planet - then back to training montage with Luke and Rey - then Knights of Ren show up and the fight between Luke and Rey closes out act 1.

 

What I'd like to see with the KoR is that they ARE Force Sensitive, but not hugely so, maybe just enough to give them a degree of precognition and enhanced reflexes. It would fit the idea that they're the elite unit of the FO but also why they would be subordinate to Kylo Ren.

 

I like to think that they can't find what Luke is looking for on Ahch-to. But they then uncover a clue and return to uncover a major mcguffin.
