    I think that's definitely a strong possibility. Since it seems like Rey will be returning the Bespin lightsaber back to its true owner, she'll be needing to construct her own lightsaber for her training under Luke. It makes sense that her own lightsaber would probably reflect her previous fighting style and what she's most comfortable with.

    Another promotional image of Rey front and centre. How many does that make it now? Nowadays on these types of imagery, the main character that drives the story is dominant and central. And Rey's the one!!

    I can understand the speculation that Rey is going to turn to the dark side at some point and I just don't think it will happen. However I do think there is a possibility she is tempted or lives in a "grey" area. I do think that Finn will be the moral conscious for her. He will keep her from going to the dark side. He defects from the FO because he can't stomach the atrocities he sees and this will show who he is as a person and will drive his character forward. Rey will likely be more powerful but she will need Finn's morals to keep her on the right track.

    rey.jpg By now everyone has seen the promo poster released for D23, Rey up front center, Finn with a sabre, etc etc. One thing I've noticed no one talking about are Rey's eyes. They are like totally black. It could be she's squinting, or wearing some space eye shadow, which I doubt. Finn on the left with the light side, Kylo on the right with the dark side, and Rey in the middle. Do those black evilish looking eyes symbolize some sort of inner struggle, or a darkness/evil within her?

    Not sure if the eyes mean anything at all but of your scenarios if there is a meaning it is more likely an inner struggle more so than a darkness/evil inside of her.

    I get that but I don't think she is going to turn at all during TFA and or anywhere in the trilogy for that matter. However, I think she might have some temptations with the dark side that Finn will help her manage and keep her from turning

    And she naturally has very dark colored eyes which depending on the lighting and angle you look at them could appear almost black

    I'm surprised no one has talked about Rey possibly having a different role due to the recent news today about Episode 8 casting a strong female character who will possibly play Han Solo's daughter.

    So i'll comment I guess. I think that rumor is not true and I still think she's a solo.

    Rey will be a Solo but only when she marries kylo, they have a baby which brings balance to the force. However, Finn does not know about this affair, strikes down kylo (he kills him believing him satanic) leaving Rey alone to bring up the child - the chosen one. Rey turns completely to the dark side despising the evil Finn who is seen as the light. He becomes a paradox, She becomes a anti-hero defending the child and will raise her little boy to be the greatest Jedi ever by teaching him love and compassion proving that light side of the force is just as cynical as the dark. :p:p:p:p
