SPECULATION Palpatine in The Last Jedi?!?!?!?

Oh my goodness... Please don’t let Palpatine come back!!! That would drive my insane!

 

Question: Do the Sith have the ability to become one with the force when they die? Do they appear as ghosts like Obi Wan and Yoda?

 

I thought you had to be in the light side of the force to become a force ghost... Like u know Maul, Dooku, etc. have never been seen as force ghosts... I know just bc it never been shown doesn’t mean they can’t be force ghosts but Idk... it would just make more sense for the Jedi to just be force ghosts follow the light and it sorta like heaven like u get eternal life if u believe in the good side but if u believe in demons and stuff well u gonna have bad consequences...

Although, in Aftermath, some members of the Acolytes of the Beyond do have dreams about old Sith, so that may be the dark side's way to communicate with the living.

 

I never believed that was Palps but nice of Pablo to confirm.

 

I'd be REAL cool with a holo recording of Palps being seen very briefly. We already know he had those droids with his face on them after he died

 

I wonder... do u think Darth Palgueis might be Snoke? Know it might sound crazy but hey if people believe jar jar is Snoke then my theory can’t be that bad lol

 

Welcome to the forums. It has come up before. Many brilliant people believe that it could happen though the trend on these forums of late is that it is unlikely. Though the truly faithful believe it unlikely but that Disney is making a mistake. It comes up in most threads that touch on Snoke. I tend to think that DP is not coming back. But you will find many who like your theory even if it is possibly a longshot.

I disagree on many levels. DP served his purpose. I think we are getting a new story. And I think DP being introduced raises questions and diminishes Sidious and Anakin significantly as characters.

I thought for awhile it could be possible there are even some ways they could pull off a great DP story but it makes Sidious dumb and makes the saga so far based on Anakin Skywalker and changes it to Darth Plagueis' story. Even though he was only mentioned once in the 1st 6 films.

 

i would hope it be a violent flashback with the 'wise' supreme leader.
