SPECULATION Paragon Lost: The Fall of Luke Skywalker

When at first he appears in ROTJ he is wearing black and when two Gamorreans try to stop him he seems to force choke them. Lucas wanted the audience to think he might turn to the darkside toward the end, even the original title was Revenge of the Jedi. At that time people thought he might. But I believe that it comes down to the prophecy of the "one who will bring balance to the force". Yoda thought the prophecy was misinterpreted. To me it's Anakin and his heirs who continue the prophecy and "use the force" instead of influence the midi-chlorians to balance somewhere in between light and dark, somewhere is shadow.

 

Luke was captured by the Sith, tortured, came close to turning, and escaped. When they tortured him they woke something up inside of him, a darkness. He knows it is there and is bonded to the REAL villain of Episode 7. Just like he left everyone on Endor in ROTJ because Vader could sense his presence and he endangered their mission, that is what he is doing in Episode 7. He knows the evils he is capable of and does not know if he can control the dark power within him, that is why he is hiding. He also hides from the villain because he knows the only way the villain can ensure complete is by turning Luke. That's all I know, but the Luke aspect of this villain will be resolved one way or another by the end of Episode 7

 

Once you start down the dark path forever will it dominate your destiny.

Star Wars Episode VII: Who's Got All Their Arms and Legs?

 

The rumor about Chewbacca with an entire robotic arm sounds cool actually same with Max Von Sydow's half cyborg drunken Clone Wars vet, but a Darth Vader-ish cyborg Luke Skywalker? No.

 

The real twist is that C-3PO becomes a real boy!

 

I heard from my co-worker that his sister's boyfriend's step-mom's doctor's ex-room mate's grandson's cousin is going to be Threepio's son after he becomes human! Ah more rumors coming to light!

 

This site is killing me.... but let me explain.

Like most on this site, I've been a fan since I was a wee tot.
I love Star Wars. I will ALWAYS love Star Wars. That being said, I've NEVER read ANY of the EU stuff. I've learned of Thrawn, Mara and Anakin Solo through fans and buddies. When I found out about the Disney/Lucas/Sequel-Trailer business, I was a bit concerned, but absolutely enthralled. I can't wait for these movies. All of them. But I digress...

If you've ever read a book, that you could absolutely not put down, and had to finish (non-stop 8hr drive from Atlanta to Orlando @ 12 yrs old style) as quickly as humanly possible because you couldn't imagine moving on with your life otherwise, that is this site.

I would enjoy such a plot line as well. I'm remembering the supposed image or concept art (might be debunked by now) that supposedly involved a crazed-looking Luke standing opposite Han and Adam Driver's character, with Han seeming to be apprehensive to Luke.

It would be interesting to see him somewhat dark, perhaps in some attempt to discover what fuels the dark side itself. But I'm not exactly one for having him as the villain as others seem to prefer.
