Has anyone already pointed out the similarities between the villain in Star Wars Legacy vol. 2 and the "leaked image" of the villain for TFA?



As already mentioned there are so many similarities to this comic and all the leaked concept art we've seen that I don't know what to make of it. Leaning towards we've all been duped by bad robot...

The quest is finding an owner of a lightsaber and a lot of the similarities end there.

I have been one of the few voices here claiming Ridley isn't a Solo/Skywalker, most people disagree with me. My points are as follows

She lives in a burnt out AT-AT, a home for an orphan not the child of legends

"Rachel" description described her as a street smart orphan

Why is she not with her parents?

Not everyone has to be related

There will be Skywalker/Solo's but it doesn't have to be Ridley

Hasn't Viral said that the Concept art including the much maligned villain one were all legit? If so we are suggesting Viral's sources are trying to trick him.

Yeah Viral's source confirmed the mega concept art drop and this villain were real. I'm guessing they are using that story as inspiration but are changing a lot of it to fit the point in time they are at since that comic takes place at least 100 years after ROTJ and the main villain is Darth Krayt and his One Sith/Sith Empire rule... which may be the main villain actually...hmmmm.

Very true, but if Boyega isn't a skywalker/solo for obvious reasons it makes me think Daisy has to be...

I thought the finding of a lightsaber had already been brought up, but maybe that was another thread. I really like the finding a lightsaber plot point being the inciting incident of TFA

 

Again I bring up this point

Gleeson looks more like a Skywalker/Solo then the distinctive features of Adam Driver. Gleeson has been the subject of virtually no rumors, especially compared to Boyega and Ridley. Gleeson had one interview where he said even the "slightest comment" on his character was a "major spoiler"

I'll just leave those facts here

 

Do you think Gleeson's character will be the lead? I haven't heard anyone talk about this. His lack of appearances in contrast to the overexposure of Daisy and Boyega make me think if he is a lead it will be in a sidekick type role like chewbacca and not a skywalker. Maybe he's voicing an alien and he plays a large role. Making his looks irrelevant?

 

No Gleeson will be more important in VIII and IX, I highly doubt he will be a sidekick. They also won't use him for a voice, that's a waste of his talent.

Ridley and Boyega are the leads like Luke Skywalker was the lead in IV. Could you really say Leia or even Han Solo were leads in IV? Episode V was their moment in the spotlight. But just because Ridley and Boyega are leads doesn't mean Isaac and Gleeson are relegated to sidekick roles. I still think Isaac will be very similar to Han Solo.

 

and you do realize that everything you just posted fits her being Luke's daughter.
if her mom is dead and Luke is missing, then she's an orphan

 

And her Aunt and Uncle abandon her to live in the middle of nowhere?
