After getting this sneak peak a while ago, and now having confirmation that this pic is real, who could be under the cloak and mask? I've heard a lot of talk about Adam Driver, but let's throw him out for now, just for grins and giggles. What would throw eveything we know or think we know into a tailspin?

Look at the small build of this character. They are smaller in the shoulders and in the arms.


He/she moves very cat-like through the forest. Maybe this could be a female. What do you think?

I'd rather not have a female hero up against a female villain. Meh.

 

But what if Boyega is actually the hero? What if Daisy is the antagonist? She may be helping collect artifacts, who better to be under the cloak? Mystery Box!!!

 

Exactly my point. That's why I said throw Driver out! Think outside of the Mystery Box or in this case inside it. lol

 

Guys it's Adam Driver. Since last February he's been rumoured to be playing the villian. He has the same height and build to the dude in the trailer. And if Driver isn't playing the villian what role will he be playing? You know he's part of the main cast because he was at the round table reading and GC wasn't. I know it's fun to speculate but it's pretty obvious at this point Driver will be playing the villian.

 

I think it would be hysterical if after all the conjecture he actually turns out to be a good guy.

 

I love the Cantina because the folks here know their SW back to front for the most part (and as far as forums go, this is a darn civil, friendly one even when there's differences of opinion). I also love that we here dissect and discuss every minute morsel of information to tease every drop of meaning and speculation fuel oit of it.

Wisdom of the crowds says that some amalgamation of all the plot possibilities that've been thrown around here will be preeeeeettttty close to the final output, and I would be happier if that were the case.

BUT that said, I'd be tickled to death if we were all completely and hopelessly wrong The surprise would be very welcome!

 

I guess what I'm trying to bring to the table is what if he isn't the villain? Who would you think could be? And why? Just trying to bring some fun discussion to this thread. I'm sure people who are Star Wars fans have an active imagination, so give us a story. All in good fun. For all we know at this point, anyone could be game. Well except the droids and Chewbacca. They have very different body builds to them. Perhaps Plagueis was a fallen Jedi Knight who turned to the Dark Side to truly understand the power of the Force. The Graverobber "MVS" character rumor of him being Boba is hopefully just that. Why continue down this road of robot parts when they are 30yrs into the future? Some advancement in medicine/science should have them regrowing limbs and curing disease like that in "Elysium".
Or why wouldn't Jango have the Boba clone's DNA altered for heighten senses and slow his aging down?

 

Boba is definitely NOT being played by MVS mainly because he's in the belly of the Sarlac being slowly digested for a thousand years, Plagueis is dead also, Sidious killed him.

 

The great and mighty lord AKA George Lucas, said Boba survived... but he's still not being portrayed by MvS because MvS is portraying Montross.
