SPOILER Possible Look At Episode 7 Villian

The forest wanderer has the same horizontal ribbing on their clothing as the figure. I did not think they were the same till I saw the blow up of the trailer still. The figure is too beefy for Kylo and it has been said that these are drafts not finals so i would say the final will be sleeker. The mask has gone through changes. The "revan" style mask from the picture in October has the same lines on the brow but not as wide as the concept art leaked yesterday.

 

i can't make out the ribbing on any of the images i've been checking out; do you have a copy of what you're looking at? it does look like the same sort of tunic and belt, that much i can make out lol i think you may be on to something...

oooh yeah, there it is! well, i'll be damned! between that and the mask/hood pic that was drawn up, i think i'm sold: that leaked figure is definitely Kylo Ren.

 

intrestingly..the G@brielGr@y twitter account inferred she was in the trailer, also saw an interview with her on youtube for Game of Thrones saying she had to learn to walk more like a man! Not beyond the realms of possibility that Kylo Ren is female!

 

We won't know who Kylo is until we see them put on or take off the mask. Assuming it's Adam Driver just because his name was on the Apple Trailer page, means very little. Until Luscasfilm says "Adam Driver as Kylo Ren" we don't know.

 

Remember the line "Because he's holding a thermal detinator"? This was spoken in RotJ when 3PO thought princess leia was actually a male bounty hunter.

So, a masked character can easily be a female while all of the characters refer to that character as male.

If all of the characters in the movie unknowingly assume that Kylo Ren is male, then a Topps card would perpetuate that assumption.

 

Maybe this is why Carrie Fisher had to lose so much weight! She had to fit into the Kylo Ren costume.

 

Nice job. Judging by how long ago that photo on the right came out I'd say Kylo was one of the first things they focused on and actually remained pretty much unchanged.

 

Stuff he's said since then seems to counteract that. I think there is way too much smoke on Driver being Kylo Ren to let a vague comment from GG change my mind

 

What's up with that twitter account? Who is that person and why are they credible?

 

He's a noted insider/leaker. He's done some great stuff for Jurassic World and the new Terminator, he hasn't really had a chance to shine with Star Wars though

 

Ok I wasn't sure what was up with his situation. I started following him and he just goes on vulgar rants a lot.

 

Lol yeah he does that... He has stated he isn't going to release any Star Wars stuff now. Too much attention and I am not sure he trusts his source for star wars are much as the other sources he has.

 

Actors and actresses are rarely kept up-to-date with any promotional material like teasers and trailers. Once the filming is done, they have one job, keep silent until they are allowed (and prompted) to talk about it. It's a business. Sure they may hear second or third-hand that they will be in a trailer, but who knows if that footage will be used or which trailer it will be? As far as the studios are concerned, actors have no part once the filming is done and therefore have no reason to be privy to anything beyond what they know from doing their scenes.

With that in mind, I think it is silly to analyze every vague comment from actors or even worse, Internet personalities, with less than precise reporting as evidence that contradicts hard facts. Kylo Ren, for example. We don't truly know who is under the mask, but unless we're being intentionally duped OR a woman is playing a man, I don't think we'll see Gwendoline Christie in that outfit any time soon. As other's have said, "ignites HIS lightsaber." Just something to think about.

 

Lucasfilm Hunts 'Star Wars' Photo Leaker

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) - Lucasfilm is searching for whoever leaked a photo of the new "Star Wars" movie on an image-sharing network.
The film company filed a subpoena request in federal court today against ImageShack, under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Lucasfilm seeks information that will identify user "Darth_Simi," who allegedly posted at least one unauthorized image to the ImageShack site on Oct. 29, 2014.
In the court filing, Lucasfilm referred to the leaked image as "Star Wars Episode VII Costume Design and Photograph." It cites a link leading to a picture of a masked figure clad in black, and holding a red crossguard-style lightsaber.
As of Friday afternoon, the image had 337 views.
Lucasfilm asked ImageShack to take down the image today.
The new Star Wars film is called "Episode VII: The Force Awakens." The first teaser trailer for the movie appeared last November and featured a character that looks similar to the one in the allegedly infringing photo.
"The Force Awakens" hits theaters Dec. 18, 2015.

 

Nice find! The most surprising thing is it took Lucasfilm this long.

 

I hope they give a sneak pic of the villain's appearance I expect a tall hood figure with double bladed lightsaber off course we have a hooded baddie carrying a sword lightsaber that's sorted.
