    If I remember well project resurrection is mentioned well before the TFA era.
    To be more specific - during operation Cinder - Iden and Del are sent to the planet Vardos to save
    Glen from the distruction. And in fact, later on, she will in chief of the same project.
    That happens even before the battle of Jakku, and it's during that rescue mission that Iden and Del leave the Empire.

    Yeah, I’ve mentioned this before too. In the BFII novel, Gleb is the headmaster of what is effectively an academy for some of the best Imperial cadets.

    Why would she, of all people, be made aware of a project aiming to resurrect someone such as Palpatine or Vader?
