Hm, a very interesting thought! That would take it really to a new level.

It would also make sense for Ezra's arc (based on speculation) .

Spinning the thought further, to what could this lead in the end then?! Anyway, I like what they do with driving this force stuff onwards. :)

What's happened to Ezra with losing his only motivation for leadrship and all, without Kanan, etc. leads him down a yoda quote. With Kanan going back to Bendu for whatever reason will make Kanan renounce his Jedi ways but still be a good guy. He will pass on Bendu's teaching so Ezra which will unfortunately make the apprentice more unpredictable. Ezra then seeks out Maul who becomes his new master and it's revealed that Maul has already met Bendu, too...maybe Maul gets a redemptive arc? So Ezra turns on Maul as a result. He goes too far off the reservation but then "love" or something like that gets in the way and Ezra realizes his ways and gives up to save his friends in the end.

Sounds like a plan. And Maul also has to get back the Sith Holocron from the Bendu as discussed here:

I wonder how this would happen. Maul on the redemption side – unlikely but an interesting option for the Old Master. ;)

I dont see Maull as being redeemed but rather start his own order of sorts for "lost" people like him which would in a sense be pseudo-sith with the holocron being the basis of the teachings

Ah, maybe something like a Knights of Ren kind of thing.

I was actually a bit underwhelmed. I love the show and i think that its only gotten better as it's gone on.

As some have said, it felt to me like they tried to cram too much into a 40 minute space. Way too many plot lines introduced. Here's hoping that that perceived weakness becomes a great strength as they pick up the dangling threads in upcoming episodes. I suspect that will be the case.

Regarding our key new players: thrawn and bendu- i like them both. Hope they develop well.

Regarding our classic cast: all were well but i felt kanan and ezra were played a bit heavy handed and that the challenges we left them with last season were (apparently) wrapped up a bit quickly. Some of this is the time jump but if these problems aren't explored in satisfying ways going forward, I'm going to feel cheated by the time jump.

Not trying to be negative: I'm still onboard for what comes next and i expect great things this season.

I'm not sure if someone has mentioned it on here but I'd love to think that what we physically saw of the Bendu was actually a figment of Kanan's imagination. The voice was accurate and real but the physical look of Bendu was not.

I thought that was a really interesting idea.

I don't buy it. We don't know much about Sato's background like how long is his military career is but he is old enough to have seen the Clone Wars in perspective and he would know Jedi aren't all powerful and Ezra still lacks maturity. Send on missions sure lead them would be a stretch.
