Also Rey has been on Jakku since she was very little. Hey idiot fan fic writers, try reading and comprehending the other parts of the canon like Rey's Survival Guide, Before The Awakening, and Star Wars: Bloodline.

Luke and burning temple and the Knights of Ren battlefield happened long after Rey was left on Jakku.

Kylo Ren is 10 years older than Rey. Try to keep up. But it's a blessing that you don't.

Bloodlines seemed to imply to me that the massacre was happening at either the same time as the main events of the book, or very shortly before. And sinc it takes place about 6 years pre-TFA, that's almost a decade AFTER Rey was left on Jakku,

 

POTENTIAL SPOILER. EPISODE 8 STORY SYNOPSIS.

This was his sent me. It could of course be bull, but it's an interesting read none the less...

Film is called Echoes of the Dark Side.
The film is similar to The Godfather 2, in the respect that there are several flash back sequences.

Act I

Finn is on a mission to undercover a secret plot that the first order has been planning, he is on his way to meet some mobsters on an underworld type of planet.

Leia is attending a memorial for the people killed on Hosnian Prime, including the leader of the Republic.

There is much controversy over whom should take over as the Leader, the public is divided on Leia. Especially since it is well known that her father was Darth Vader.

Poe is in attendance and in charge of her protection.

Luke is hesitant to train Rey. He speaks with Anakin/Obi Wan/Yoda as force ghosts whom try and convince him to train her.

Act II

Finn upon discovering that the First Order are planning a massive assassination of all the Republic leaders(including Leia), tries to warn the Resistance but is stopped short by Captain Phasma, whom is playing much more of a Boba Fett styled role in the film.

The First Order/Kylo & The Knights of Ren strike against the leaders at the memorial, killing all except Leia(whom is heavily injured and placed in a coma).

The Resistance led by Poe Dameron barely escape, and they retreat to a Resistance Base which is actually a Ship.

The Galaxy is in complete chaos, after essentially all planets losing their leaders and the Republic being destroyed in an instant.

Laura Dern's character takes over as the Resistance leader, but her tactics are controversial.

Luke sensing what happened to Leia finally agrees to leave the planet with Rey.

In order to find the rebel base they must find Finn, whom knows the location.

They arrive at the underworld planet to rescue him from Captain Phasma.

Act III

Kylo Ren senses his mother in a coma and it starts to make him heavily question his actions, it seems that Leia in her coma is able to speak to him directly and it is nearly driving him into madness.

Snoke belives Kylo can't handle killing his own mother, so he decides to have Benico Del Toro's character hunt for the rebels. Del Toro is a ruthless mercenary commander hired by the First Order. He is referred to as The Hunter.

Kylo is assigned to capture Rey and bring her to Snoke.

Luke and Rey are split up, Luke eventually rescues Finn.

Rey battles Kylo and again almost kills him until he destracts her with a reveal. He cuts off her arm. "No, Luke is your father". Luke had told her he wasn't up until this point, and just said her parents were dead.

Act IV

Laura Dern's character decides to attack the First Order in full force, which proves to be a trap setup by them to find their coordinates, she is killed.

The Resitance Base is ambushed by Benico's team and Poe and the remainding pilots must try and defend the Ship, some of the pilots even sacrificing themselves infront of blasts to protect their last stand.

Finn fights Captain Phasma, and narrowly escapes.

Kylo is about to leave with Rey when he hears Luke.

Kylo and the Knights of Ren attempt to battle Luke, but they can't come close to his power. There is no question about how powerful Luke is.

Luke has a line referencing his "fallen padawans".

Finn steals shield codes from one of the local gangs and has BB* hack Del Toro's ship.

Kylo is about to escape with Rey, but leaves her.

Finn rescues Luke/Rey but sacrifices himself and is caught by the local mob.

They eventually escape the Planet on the Falcon, which has Lando piloting.

Lando whom knows the underworld well, had heard rumors of Skywalker returning.

Final

The Resistance hold off Del Toro, but barely escape.

Once the shields are disabled the remainding Resistance literally fly their Ships in his to kill him. It is a very tragic scene.

Leia awakens, and finally sees Luke and speaks with him in a brief but emotional conversation.

She dies.

Poe is now the official leader of what is left of the Resistance.

Luke decides he must train his daughter, and bring Kylo back to the light to defeat Snoke.

Snoke feels that Kylo wouldn't bring back Rey, he is angered and Hux reports to him that Ren has not returned.

The flash backs show an incredibly creepy scene of Snoke as a young man speaking to Kylo.

Rey's mother is not revealed.

She was whom left Rey on Jakku. She mind wiped Rey but she was killed and hunted.

The Knights are the former apprentices of Skywalker.

Part of Luke's isolation has been because he feels the darkness in him after the betrayl, he really hesitates to use his powers. He thought his daughter was dead. But once he realizes she is alive, he can't admit it to her.

Note

Lando also could have shot down Ren as he escapes, but Chewie stops him.

MAJOR TWIST

Once Kylo reveals that Luke is her father, she is shocked why he wouldn't admit it to her. Kylo then reveals that's because it was in fact both Rey & Kylo who betrayed him She was never a young girl on Jakku. She was left there to never become a Jedi.

This is why Luke is so hesitant to train her, and doesn't want to reveal he is her father.

Her mind was wiped to think she had been there since she was a young girl.

We already have seen this and it's absolutely terrible writing.

 

Thar "scoop" would be an incredibly insulting way to kill off Leia, especially since all of the relevant characters (Han, Luke, Rey, Finn, and even Poe) would have gotten a face to face scene EXCEPT her. You know, his mother, who was driving the "he's redeemable" train in the last movie.

No, just no.

 

Believe it or not, that is what makes me think this is the real McCoy. This script sounds more likely than any of the other ones we saw.

It's clearly fake as it says Rey was hidden by Luke when his Jedi students were killed. Rey was left on Jakku aged 5. According to Pablo the Jedi massacre happened around 7 years before TFA.

LAST WARNING!


Three months after the destruction of Starkiller base, the Resistance has been driven from their former base on Dqar by the First Order. The Resistance, led by Princess Leia, set up their new base on the hot planet Iceth. The Order's fleet, led by Kylo Ren and General Hux, continues to hunt for the Resistance's new base by dispatching probe droids across the galaxy.

While investigating a potential meteor strike, Luke Skywalker, newly arrived from Ahch-to, is captured by a Swamp thing. He manages to escape from its cave with his lightsaber, but soon succumbs to the brutally hot temperatures. The ghost of his late mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, instructs him to go to the Dejavuh system to train new potential Jedi Master Rey. He is found by Chewie, who shaves off his fur to create a fan to keep Luke cool, while he sets up a shelter. Chewie and Luke make it through the night and are rescued by Nev Azeeagen.

On patrol, Finn and Poe discover the asteroid Luke had planned to investigate is actually a probe droid, which alerts the First Order to the Resistance’s location. The First Order launches a large-scale attack, using AT-AT Walkers to capture the base. Finn and Leia escape on the Millennium Falcon with C-3PO, BB8, Poe and Nudebacca, but their hyperdrive malfunctions. They hide in an asteroid field, where Finn and Poe grow closer. Kylo Ren summons bounty hunters, including the notorious Phasma Fett, to assist in finding the Falcon. Luke, meanwhile, escapes with R2-D2 and Rey in his X-wing fighter and crash-lands on the swamp planet Dejavuh. There he meets the diminutive force ghost of Yoda; after conferring with Obi-Wan's spirit, Yoda eventually persuades Luke to take Rey as his pupil.

After evading the First Order, Finn sets a course for Misty Town, a floating colony in the skies of the planet Sesspit. Misty Town is run by Finn's newly discovered father, Lando Calrissian. Unknowingly, the Millennium Falcon has been tracked by Phasma Fett; shortly after they arrive, Lando leads the group into a trap and they are handed over to Kylo Ren. Ren plans to use the group as bait to lure out Luke and Rey, intending to capture them alive and take them to Supreme Leader Snoke. During her training on Dejavuh, Rey sees a premonition of Finn and Leia in pain and, against Yoda's wishes, she and Luke leave to save them.

Ren goes back on his agreement with Lando and takes Leia, Poe and Nudebacca into custody. He intends to hold Luke and Rey in suspended disbelief via collagen jello, and, as a test, jellies Finn within a block. He hands the jellied Finn over to Fett, who intends to leave for the restricted planet Taboo, situated halfway between Tattooine and Naboo, to deliver Finn to Blubba the Fatt and his bountiful head. Lando, who was forced into cooperating with the First Order, initiates an escape and frees Leia and the others. They try to save Finn but are unable to stop Fett. They then flee Misty Town in the Falcon.

Luke and Rey arrive at Misty Town and fall into Ren's trap. The three engage in a lightsaber duel that leads them over the town's central stinking air shaft where, as his mentor suspected, Ren proves to be no match for Luke and Rey who sever Ren's right leg, causing him to lose his weapon. After Ren refuses to give in and continues to goad them with "you're yellow, your friend is jello" they sever his other leg. Unperturbed Ren continues his tirade, claiming it but a flesh wound. Luke and Rey with their eyes thrown to heaven sever both his arms and take their leave, with a indignant Ren, now but a stump, still calling them out as they go. Luke reveals that he is Reys father. Ecstatic, Rey trips and falls through the air shaft, bringing Luke with her. They are ejected above floaters and make a desperate telepathic plea to Leia, who senses it and persuades Lando to return for them in the Falcon. BB8 and Poe repair the Falcon's hyperdrive, allowing them to escape the First Order.

Later, aboard a Resistance laundry frigate, Luke and Rey's contaminated attire is replaced. Lando, Rey, Poe, BB8 and Nudebacca set off for Taboo in the Falcon in order to save Finn. As the Falcon departs, Luke, Leia, R2-D2, and C-3PO look on and await word from Lando.

Where can I find this quote? I ask because I remain nervous that they will kill off more OT characters for the "dramatic" effect. In a way, that's why I'm looking forward to Rogue One, because I know they can't kill off the characters I grew up with.
