Man, I've been feelin' downright nostalgic for old 'leaks' and speculation lately. It's freaking hilarious sometimes.

 

Now, that speeder crashing was also confirmed... Maybe it really is Hamills double. Acting out action sequences is stunt double's job, after all.



If Luke is supposed to be sneaking out, maybe he's disguised as one of the police officers. I'm thinking the 4chan poster might have assumed that some unspecified troops from call sheets must be stormtroopers; the sort of police security forces in the pictures go well with the "planet is under occupation / interrogations" and "prison break" scenarios described in the leak.

That would also explain why the troops are hostile towards Phasma, if they are prison guards, for example.

Sorry if I'm reaching, but in my opinion too much of this leak overlaps with more recent photos to simply call it a coincidence.

 

No Hammill. No Christie, No Boyega, granted they may show up later but at this moment not convinced as of yet. Not convinced the guy who went flying was was on a ledge either, it was steps and he may have been blow up.

I hoped that a closer video or better angle would have made it clearer, but this has left me more confused.

The only thing that makes sense to me, is that they're rehearsing the stunts for an explosion type of sequence. During actual filming, there will be an explosion and it will be much more convincing.

 

Given that he doesn't seem to be wearing any costume, I'd certainly agree that it's a rehearsal.
Will there be an explosion though? Can they safely use an explosion there without damaging the place?

 

I'm not sure it will be an actual explosion. It'll definitely be some type of blast. Maybe Chewie's bowcaster.

the way he staggers to his left before catapulting seems to suggest a series things happening. The first stagger to the left almost looks like he's trying to move out of the way of a blaster shot. However the second "catapult move" looks like serious force push or a bowcaster shot. However if it was a bowcaster shot, he wouldn't launch sideways.

 

I still maintain she's a Kenobi. There were so many little obiwan references I left both showings thinking she was a Kenobi.

I can't remember all of them but plan to make a list once the Bluray is released.

Is her dad his son, Toby Kenobi ?

 

Somewhat unexpected and currently not the worst circulating title.
