    (My theory is that she is an incarnation of the force, possibly 'The Mother' of The Ones' but in some way is the same person as Shmi Skywalker). Crazy wager for crazy times! (anakin 3)

    yall should lay out the ground rules for this one. lol. are we talking a reincarnation, or time travel? or something else... anyways good luck guys. we still have a few years to wait this one out. :D oh yeah we need to set a reveal date also.     true lol. when we went through the episode 7 bets, we had to do a lot of digging, and some may have been lost. .. and its kind of sad, but a lot of people dont stick around long enough to find out if they win. It would be great if we could set a reminder to pop off in a few years lol.

    My theory is that she's an incarnation of the force that materializes in times of crisis, mother force, mother universe so to speak, so kind of like reincarnation but not exactly. The movie was called the force awakens, and the awakening was Rey - my link to Shmi is the virgin birth of Anakin - he was born of the force - we assumed this was some sort of force impregnation but if he just formed out of the force that was Shmi? Anyway, I came to this conclusion from reading The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell. The OT was influenced fairly heavily by part one of the book, this theory comes out of part two and the fact that they're calling this "Rian Johnson's weird film."
