Rey killed a storm trooper

Alot of things have killed stormtroopers. It's quite easy. I think an ant could kill one.

 

Speaking of Stormtroopers, why they are falling so easily with one shot? What's the point of their armor anyway?
We started this whole discussion based on the assumption that the stormtrooper Rey hit with a blast died... but, maybe not... maybe he is still alive, just hit.
Then he goes in the bacta tank and bing-a-bang-boom, he's back into action.

Only a death certificate would prove Rey is on her path to the darkside with that "kill".

 

In Legends their armour spreads the shot's impact across its surface, meaning that Stormtroopers get disabled but don't die.

 

I think it's there to protect the troopers from kings like air based attacks, better ventilation, things like being hit with debris and stuff. It wouldn't necessarily protect you from a blaster/bowcaster. It's like you wearing a bulletproof vest and get hit but then you get with armor piercing rounds and pretty much die, which is the equivalent of a sw blasted

 

But is Rey aware of that fact?
Maybe she thinks they are just stunned and not killed.
That way, she is not intending to kill...maybe that plays in that whole "falling to the dark side" journey thing.

 

I think Rey will tread along the dark path and Kylo will see the light...

 

She's an innocent herself and she has to protect herself

 

maybe Han gave Rey a blaster loaded with blanks and that stormtrooper was just so surprised he fell over, panicked that he had been shot, but realized that he was cool.
