That's a better trailer, IMO.

 

You might be right, even though it seems to have more footage from the first teaser, I think.

 

I agree it has more footage, but that's not it. For me, it's the editing. It's put together with momentum and excitement in such a way I don't get from the other trailer

 

So they can release the trailer to a wider audience plut blood could make it r .

 

But it was dark so it wasn't entirely RED .

 

I liked the plot detail that Galen gave the existence of the Death Star to the Rebels. It signifies the start of his involvement. I was curious about this for some time; where does Galen Erso fit in the story proper (besides him being the genius who designed its weapon)?

 

Much better. I don't know why but this one feels more...logical (or something) than the official trailer.

It is very interesting...I would have assumed that the geonosians built it otherwise..

 

I think it was said that he was the mastermind behind the laser beam that destroys the planet, not the design for the whole sphere. Did I misunderstand something?

 

Nope, that is correct - this is as the theory goes so far as I’ve heard…

• The Geonosians designed the thing at the beginning
  
• Construction was done over Geonosis and overseen by Tarkin during some phases
  
• The hull was then moved away from Geonosis and the planet sterilized (aka everybody on it was killed except a mad hive queen)
  
• It took roughly 20 years before completion while the super laser proved to be always a problem until Galen Erso steps in and helps to finalize it with his know-how

If Galen really gives the alliance the clue about its existence or even submit the plan and maybe implement the unprotected exhaust port, needs to be seen in the upcoming movie I guess.

 

I think that Galen will:

- Be in hiding/exile

- Send Jyn Erso coded imperial information which is one of the reasons the alliance wants her help

- he sacrifices himself to protect the rebels

 

THat was cool the way Cassian said ''the message was sent by your father'' heck of a bribery move by the alliance to get her involved.

 

Hmmm is that Darth Vader's tie fighter flying up towards Jyn????

 

Nope, it’s the standard TIE/LN not the TIE Advanced x1 model.

 

I think the freighter pilot is flying that so it's on Jyn's side .

 

Nice I can't wait to see if she tries to jump on it to take it over, crazy thought but there is not point in retreating it will just try to blast her off the platform.
