    I somehow dont think vader will kill krennic or that he will even die. Vader walks towards him but it looks like a human figure standing over him while it's raining. Also, is it just me or does Vader look like CGI even though he probably isnt. The CGI has improved a lot too. One of my concerns though is that it was sort of gave off the vibe at times of "Expendables" but I cant figure out why I think that.

    That scene of Vader walking briskly towards Krennic...the last time we saw Vader he was stomping around like Frankenstein's monster. He looks now to have purpose, menacingly (exiting a ship?)... I would love the very reason we do not see Krennic in ANH is because Vader kills him with the Force choke for allowing the plans to be stolen. "You have underestimated the power of the Force for the last time..."

    Wow, so many bitter Vader fans... but, I genuinely wonder why.

    Vader was never supposed to be a big player in this movie. They told us so from the beginning.

    Which doesn't bother me, to be honest. Anakin's story has been told; no need to bring him back unless it's for someone else's story (like in Rebels) for the sake of completeness, or it's just minimal fanservice.

    Agreed. This is why I'm not really expecting him to even use his lightsaber. Would I like him to? Sure! But he seems to be more "presence" than "action" here, and probably is only going to really step into action with A New Hope.

    Yes... a little campy even... and I love it. At the end of the day, one of the sources and inspiration for the Star Wars saga was pulp serials. Star Wars can be serious... and it can also be fun.

    Actually, nope.

    Look at the shot immediately before this one. The wide shot of the room where you can see the full Death Star holo over the center of the table. Dodonna is standing more or less across the table from Mon Mothma. The guy standing beside her is just another bearded freedom fighter. ;)

    He will say it. I remember reading an Edward's interview a while back where he was talking of his excitement from getting Earl Jones to say 'POWER'. He probably says it right back Krennic. "DO NOT TALK TO ME OF POWER, DIRECTOR"
