Delevingne was talked about last year in the British tabloids.

I hate to be that guy...But I seem to recall some flap over Ms. Delevingne posing for some, ahem, mature photos. I believe it would be a first for Star Wars and Disney to use an actor or actress in which so much was available online. That is assuming she has some actual part to play in the movie as opposed to simply being a set piece.

I guess it's up to the viewer making that call, but most folks I've talked to who went to SDCC thought Star Wars absolutely crushed it. Suicide Squad was good but Joker was a bit of a disappointment.

SIAP but I like the angle of this recording of the panel a lot as you get to see what's shown on the board behind them.

it's totally misdirection. 32 years wihout luke on the big screen and then he appears in one scene with NO LIGHTSABER DUEL. They'll not do this even in a alternative reality

True, it's hard to believe they would waste the opportunity to release the first Star Wars film in 10 years, and the first sequel/film featuring the original characters in 32 and a half years, and not surprise the audience with a scene where Luke comes out of nowhere, saves the day, and trains a new, young character. Nothing else could scream "STAR WARS IS BACK!" like that.

I wouldn't be completely shocked if Luke doesn't pick up a saber the entire trilogy. I sense more OT Yoda in his future than PT Yoda. Might not happen that way. Maybe they do let him fight. But I don't think its necessary depending on what angle they take with his character. I can definitely see a scenario where he imparts wisdom from afar and rejects the battlefield as corrupting influence on his studies of the force.

Didn't Hamill himself say that he doesn't want to fight again?

I believe he did. I don't remember the exact quote, but it was in regards to his decision to return to the franchise. He needed to be sure it wasn't going to be goofy looking geriatric lightsaber battles or something to that effect.

    May 4th 2013:
"An audience member told Hamill they hoped to see Luke be a true Jedi Master in the new films, in the manner of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. Hamill said he’d love to see a Luke, “Heavy on the Jedi mind tricks, less on the lightsaber duels. That one in Empire nearly killed me!” He explained how that sequence took six weeks to shoot, “Six weeks I’m being beaten within an inch of my life on a daily basis! It was awful!” He smiled, recalling, “And then it’s cut down to like six minutes. ‘Eh, it’s no big deal.’” http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/05...e-for-a-balance-between-cgi-and-old-school-fx
