    This can only mean that it will be released soon. I'm sure it will be this year or very early next.

    if the video is ready now. I don't think we have to wait untill next year. So i guess it's either Hero 6 at the end of this month or the Hobbit - i'm sure PJ wouldn't mind his movie having ep 7 teaser in front. Maybe they (JJ and PJ) agreed on it when he was visiting the set :D haha.

    if the video is truly ready.. then i'd assume it will be released very soon. with the avengers clip being leaked early i'd doubt they would sit on it for long once it's done.

    hunger games seems way.. way to early. but... i didn't expect to see the title so soon and of all the films mentioned - Mockingjay pt1 would make massive marketing sense if the footage contains ridley "stuff".


    seems to be a lot of knowledge of a completed video.. but nobody seems to be spilling the beans.
    what gives @Viral Hide ? something doesn't smell right

    Unless they add it in later, it isn't Hero 6. It was released this past weekend and I heard from a friend that it did not have a Star Wars trailer.

    He may be a fan he defended smaug's cliffhanger by reminding us that it will be resolved in one year(if u haven't read it) while 80s kids had to wait 3 to see han get rescued I hadn't heard he visited the set when was this

    I have a strong feeling that it might be with The Hobbit premiere, PJ is a major SW fan, and it's a win win situation for both parties, larger turnout for the trailer (and there will already be a large turnout for The Hobbit) and larger exposure for the trailer. Plus the Christmas timing makes it a marketing ideal time, presented as a Christmas gift to the entire SW fanbase.

    I know I shouldn't get myself excited for the trailer to show new characters. I doubt they show them.

    That's very astute. I never even thought of that.

    I think you're right -- win win for both parties here! JP gets to be involved with SW and gets added revenue from a SW trailer and JJ probably would want to get in on the Hobbit hype, plus rumors of Benedict Cumberbatch.

    If that's the case, I don't think they'll choose The Hobbit. I would have thought they'd choose one of their own movies, rather than another studio's.

    I'm speculating they will go with the Hobbit part 3 because Peter Jackson visited the TFA set and it's 1 day off from being exactly 1 year before TFA is released in the US.

    I made a prediction in some of the comments that things would go quiet for a while after the wrap party and it seems things have done that. We got the title and thats been it. No sightings of actors, no leaks, no images, nuthing. Right now they are likely cleaning up Ep7 and packing away sets, etc. Pinewood now is likely getting set for the 1st stand alone movie. I'm thinking we are going to have to watch the Walt Disney Christmas special and we will catch the teaser then. And extended teaser will come out in January likely with the Super Bowl. The real trailer will hit in May or July when the Avengers or Ant Man hits theaters.

    Teaser maybe!.... BIG MAYBE!.... But the trailer will come out with either the Avengers or Ant Man

    - He hinted at VII or VIII(I think it says VIII on the paper)

    What is the reason behind all of this? Will he be a writer for a spin off, is he a good ol' director buddy or J.J or what?
