    Maybe the Astromechs are now all in the design of the new soccer ball droid and are so small we can't see them in their ports in the shots of the new x-wings.

    Hmmm... never thought of the possibility that he is in the village, and robs a trooper of their uniform to escape...

    I thought it was doing everything it could to maneuver...

    Him igniting the red one was enough for me... still hoping this is him

    Definately... the lightsabers from the PT and OT were designed to deflect shots... this one is designed to cut through armour

    The reason I considered the Falcon to not be under a firm hand was its darting in all directions but not really creating any distance, and that it only seems to be under fire once it's levelled out over the sand dunes. The TIE Fighters approached from the opposite direction, not behind it?

    The goal in any dogfight is to get behind the enemy because that's the best spot to shoot them down from. Sometimes when you maneuver, like with the Falcon, you've got the enemy behind you so you pull up into a sharp climbing loop and turn to face them. Now it's a head-to-head situation. It can happen in any dogfight(take this all with a grain of salt, but I play too many WWII dogfighting simulators so I just had to chime in).

    But it's tough to really say Han is or isn't there. I think the character who is at the controls of the Millennium Falcon at the desert planet stage is a huge plot point that will dictate what happens later in the movie so I doubt we'll know who the pilot is here until Dec. 18, 2015.

    You never actually see a sun(s) in the trailer. You see glare and light from the sun(s) but never an actual shot of one. It could still be Tatooine.
