    Why is the "bad guy" igniting his lightsaber? Is it something in front of him we can't see in the trailer or something he hears/feels?

    When I saw the teaser trailer for the 1st time I got goose bumps \m/
    I think JJ and co. are doing a great job. I feel Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will be a GREAT film and an excellent follow up to Episode VI: Return of the Jedi!!! !!! !!!

    My theory as to the movement and quick draw of the black figure at the end is, that he/she hears something probably behind them and the scene is cut right before the character quickly turns around and then the camera pans to what is behind him/her.

    It cant very well be a deleted scene since there isn't a first cut yet. Once the first cut is finished they decide which scenes are gonna get cut and which scenes stays in the movie. It takes more than a month to put a first cut togheter.

    IMO he is moving full of anger and rage towards his enemy. Maybe he don't know where his opponent is exactly, but he ignites the saber preparing for combat, eager to fight.
