OFFICIAL NEWS TFA Teaser Trailer 1 (11.28.2014) Discussion Thread.

If the first full-length trailer is attached to Age of Ultron, I'm thinking it may premiere at Celebration Anaheim first before running in the theater. That's too big of an event to not show something like that there.

Other than that, I'm selfishly hoping for another teaser much sooner than that, preferably with the Big Three featured. Christmas would be amazing for something like that to happen, but the Super Bowl seems more realistic. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

 

Now I have watched the teaser - and a whole lot of so-called "reaction videos" (some of them bringing out a tear ) - and I have changed my mind about two things. Maybe three.
* I have come to the conclusion that the roller droid indeed makes me feel a little bit uncomfortable.
* While I voted for Daisey's scene initially (and I still love it) I might now be getting the feels the most when those three X-Wings come flying across the water.
* I have become obsessed with the Sith(-like) scene and the voice over. I'm constantly telling people there's been an awakening and asking them if they have felt it. Not good, thirty-nine year old man.

 

Finally got through all the pages.

Interesting question. I have heard that it will be released around Xmas time.

 

They are not going to release 2 trailers with only 3 - 4 days between them. No way will that happen.

 

That makes no sense, you don't release two new trailers in quick succession like that

I am going to go with Christmas, but it's a question of how much Disney wants to space out their marketing. Teasers in back to back months may not be favored since it would then be a long break until the first full trailer is shipped in May. After the first full trailer that's when we get hit with a Disney marketing blitz. I like to hope we'd get a second teaser so soon, but it may not be until late January or early February.

If it's not with The Hobbit 3 or Into the Woods, I'm thinking it will be with the Super Bowl.

 

Xmas is what i have heard for the second teaser.

 

I hope we get something around Christmastime, either a second teaser, a poster, or a brief description. Sometime to mark the point that it is one year until release.

The Superbowl is a super expensive media buy, not really needed 11 months from release. But a new trailer attached to big early summer releases in May/June makes sense. There will be other media releases etc between then and now.

 

I mean a second teaser. A full length trailer will more than likely be with Age of Ultron and maybe another with Ant Man.

 

Or it will be released with Into The Woods December 25.

What they could do in the time before the next teaser is to gradually give us something to chew on. If they were nice and knew people were going insane over this stuff. Something like a character name here, a not-very-spoiling image there, perhaps a look/video at a shoot without revealing too much, etc.
Something. That's the key word right there. Have you FELT IT

 

I'm sure we will get a few different things ep7 related this month. It will be exciting to see what
