OFFICIAL NEWS TFA Teaser Trailer 1 (11.28.2014) Discussion Thread.

I saw Into The Woods this past weekend and it was not shown. I was disappointed because I was kind of expecting it. I was planning on going to see the Hobbit to see if it was going to be shown but thanks to @Pomojema info I not going to waist my time.

The SW TFA teaser trailer was shown in front of the IMAX 3D Hobbit at Regal Cinemas Red Rock Stadium 16 IMAX Movie in Las Vegas (inside the Red Rock Casino). I was starting to think it wasn't going to show, but it did...........the last one of the bunch, btw saw the Terminator trailer too, wasn't aware another was coming out....lol. Depends on where you go, it's hit and miss it appears.

I saw the Hobbit last night in Copenhagen DK and the Teaser was not attached to the actual movie, but they played it on a small screen outside in the waiting-hall

 

I saw the Hobbit3 in Norway last night, and here they showed the trailer on screens in the lobby as well as (in 3D) before the main feature.

A side note, the trailer looked better in 3D than I had feared, except for the desert of the opening shot with peekaboo Boyega. The desert just didn't work, and was double-colored even with the glasses on. Strange stuff.

 

That is like analysis for retards, who can't comprehend what is shown in the teaser by simply looking at it.
The first line is like a question, spoken probably by someone dark, maybe Sith Lord. Narrated by Captain Obvious.
How much of breaktroughs of this short teaser I need to see??! How much more milking of nothing....

Let me try: ''We see X-wings flying across the water - well, it looks like some planet with forests and water, maybe Yavin 4 or Kashyyk or Endor or Naboo or Alderaan in a flashback. They have their foils in battle formation, they are probably going to some dodgefight or destroy something or bomb a cities/villages/base/fluffy animals in the forest. Whoa, let's see in 2015, if I've got anything of this right''

I know my friend went to see Hobbit in 3d IMAX, and it showed...

Hey guys what's up. As I was watching the TT again, I noticed something. Why would the scene with Boyega have 10 seconds of desert before showing him? That scene may be the first scene of the movie. First the opening crawl. Then(usually space and a ship) the planet tatooine(space view) then the next scene is the one from the TT. Does any of that sound right to you? Any way here is what I think are going on in each of these scenes on the TT.

Scene 1:
Boyega pops up on the screen and looks confused, scared, and nervous. We also here a probe droid. Boyega must be running from something or someone. Most likely the empire. I also notice he looks around as if he has no idea where he is, so he may have crash landed there or something.

Scene 2:
We see BB-8 roll around on tatooine. Noting major here, the only thong I want to point out is that the planet is tatooine(first 2 scenes same planet)

Scene 3:
Stormtroopers!!! We see us some stromtroopers on a ship ready to land on some planet (rumored tatooine) only thing I want to point out is the new guns and uniforms.

Scene 4:
Ridley is on a Popsicle speeder-on tatooine-. She looks nervous and scared like Boyega did. What could she be running from? And are there two different scenes we see in the TT? The first of her turning the speeder on and the other were she drives away is at a different time since there if no pole on the side of the so speeder in the shot and her googles are on when they weren't before, so could that be?

Scene 5:
X wings with Oscar. Flying over, not tatooine, but maybe yavin 4 as it has been rumored. So the x wings are new and the pilot helmets are also new. Noting major in the scene.

Scene 6: (best scene!!!)
Kylo Ren bring down the house!! This scene is on a snowy planet. We see kylo walk a few steps then ignite his saber that looks like a sword. So what is he doing. Why the random lightsaber turn on. I dident see anything in front of him? Who knows?

Scene 7:
The falcon fighting some TIEs. I want to note the new dish on the falcon and the new tie fighter look. Here is a quoted post on the TIEs I made.

No there will be an explanation of why he is on the desert planet before actually showing the scene

I think the long shot of the desert before Boyega pops up is to build suspense it may or may not have anything to do with it being the opening scene.

 

I agree. Suspense.

But maybe Darthrevan8 is right. The scene with Boyega popping up in screen would be an incredibly bold way to start off the movie, this would also be in line with the overall dynamic of the teaser; intensely high tempo.

I can visualise it that way, though im on the fence regarding if it is too bold.

 

It would be a powerful opening I mean drop you right in the action with no set up if done right could work if they unfold the story right.

Dude got excited when I saw the red spoiler band. Then I read the post. Speculation.
